2015 Acura TLX Lease Questions

I was quoted 365 for a tlx base tonight 36/12.

30,899 selling price and 20,728 residual with 2,000 down.

6.5% sales tax.

Guess my residual is $21,047.40 I got silver BTW. I normally get the Graphite color, but seems really dark on the TLX.

I also will get hit with a $350 turn in fee, if I don't buy the car at end of lease. I don't know if that is standard, but I probably would have tried to negotiate it if I had know. It was never mentioned until I was signing all the docs.

Almost every lease has a disposition fee. It's pretty standard and charged by the bank, not the dealer. You can't negotiate that away. Most captive banks waive the fee, if you lease another car of the same make at lease end.

.00123 MF and 64% residual for the base V6 model. 61% residual for the V6 Tech model.

So are the money factor and residuals pretty much set in stone each month, leaving only the purchase price negotiable?

Yes... In theory, dealers can mark up the money factor for extra profit, but Acura dealers rarely do that.

And, as in any auto transaction, watch out for extra charges and maintenance/insurance plans that you don't need.

Acura has a hit on its hands with the TLX - outselling the previous TL and TSX combined.

Therefore, Acura has little incentive to provide supported lease numbers to move metal.

Then we're pretty close to each other, though the cap cost reduction of $1166 works out to about $30/mo.

FWD has better residuals.

This is first time considering to lease a vehicle to keep my monthly payments low. The chances are we will keep the car at the end so want to make sure i do not loose too much money. Below is the quote i have received so far please let me know if its good.

The money factor and residual given in your example are correct..

Every variable is itemized on that offer... the only thing to decide is if a $1795 discount from MSRP is good enough.

As you might note, the TLX is not a cheap car to lease.

Using Acura pull ahead program to get out of 2012 base TSX two months early, mileage momentum to rollover 11K miles and college graduate credit of $500 in the equation. Currently paying $339 a month for TSX. Is this a good deal? Should I hold out until the end of my lease or pull the trigger?

$2,742 and then total drive-off $34,283. Mileage 10,000. I was given out the door price with no money down $398.02/mos + $31.84 tax (8%) for total monthly $429.86. Do you think I can do better?

.00140 MF and 65% for 36/10. With your MSRP and total drive off, I get $396.44/mo pre-tax and $428.15/mo with 8% tax. So, pretty close to your quote.
