I see Acura has new offers listed as of today. Anything change for July as far as MF and residuals? Looking at the same models as above, for Illinois. V6 Tech: 36/12K and V6 AWD Tech: 36/12K.

Thanks for numbers kyfdx. As far as the lease cash goes, do you have to own a TSX or TL to take advantage? Currently have an ILX, so hoping that works too.

It's a dealer incentive. Factor it into your negotitations.

I want to learn more about Money Factor. Found out MF x 2400 = APR, so 0.00026 MF = 0.624% APR. Current financing APR offer is 1.9% up to 36 mo, so if i calculate it correctly, leasing is better than buying... am I making any sense here?

Yes.. but the finance rate is only one small part of the equation. When you lease, you have to pay a $595 acquisition fee that you won't have, if you purchase.

One variable does not mean leasing is better than buying.. a lot more goes into it, including your personal driving habits and finances.

Current advertised lease special is $299 with $2799 due at signing.  Residual is 61% I believe on 36/10k.  MSRP is $32,365.

I believe purchase price will be around $30,500.
If MF is .00050. 

I get a payment of $323.95 plus tax with 0 down?

Anyone confirm a MF for base 4 cylinder on 36/10k?  And if $1000 dealer cash applies to base 4 cylinder?

Good morning! I was quoted the following lease on Saturday (which I feel like a good deal): 2015 V6 Tech, 36mo, 10K, $680 down (first pmt plus fees), utilizing TX tax incentive (1.5% in taxes) for $399. MF was .22 I believe? I think the residual was 55?

I should also mention that he told me there were national incentives, as well as a dealer incentive....some trip to Bali or Asia somewhere? This quote included those

When comparing an Acura lease to the Acura Leadership Purchase Plan, does anyone know what ALPP interest rates are for a 48 month term with excellent credit?

Also, does the ALPP also require payment of an acquisition fee like the lease?

As I understand it the residual values will be the same whether its a lease or ALPP. Trying to do an apples to apples comparison between the two programs. [The ALPP has a tax benefit in Texas if a buyer decides to keep the car at the end of term.]

So, there is a doc fee and a dealer prep fee? Those dealers sure are industrious!

Considering the $1000 lease cash and the $600 in dealer fees, I'm not terribly impressed with the discount from MSRP (though I don't really follow the market for selling prices).

Need guidance on a quote I received from the dealer today. I am looking to lease a base 2015 TLX with high mileage (traveling sales) 20,000k

Base Price: $32,365
Discount: $1464
MF: of .00070
I am not sure what the residual is, I can ask though.

Monthly payment of $370.

My question is, is this high monthly payment for the amount of money I am putting down? Am I getting killed over the MF or is .00070 a "preferred Acura rate" as they claim?

Any advice is greatly appreciated in advance.

.00070 is the base MF for the TLX; can't get any better than that. 58% residual for 36/15; extra miles are charged up front at a rate of .10-.25 per mile.

How much money are you putting down? Be advised that we don't recommend that - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

I am putting $3,000 down. If I total the car - I understand the $3,000 is lost. So - what would my insurance cover if that was the case? Or, would I be starting over from scratch?

Is the $3000 all down payment? Or does that also cover the other up front costs - first payment, bank fee, dealer fee, tags/license?

You'd basically be starting over if that happened.

That'd be covering other up front costs as well. Thanks for the heads up. I've been negotiating with a few dealers and they best I've gotten so far is $352 for a base TLX with $3k down and 20k/year. From that same dealer - $412/mo for a tech. I'm trying to get a tech for an even $400 and I'll go with that more than likely.

Initially those numbers were for the base model and I walked out because I wanted to be $300 or under. Base model MSRP was $32,365. No extras on either except some value package which has lugs rubber mats and couple other things. 

Then the dealer texts me saying lets make this happen, which I replied ill only come sign if it's a tech package for same deal. He said lets do this...

I don't mind paying what they quoted for a tech however if you're saying with those numbers it should be a lower payment then there must be something they are adding that I'm not aware of...btw each dealer has ~100 TLX in stock with some close to 200.

Ah, that makes more sense. If everything else is the same, then I get $289.15/mo pre-tax.

Not sure you can get a Tech for under $300 a month; if you do, I'd be very interested in how you did it as I'd like the same deal next year when my lease is up.

Spoke with manager this morning, basically was trying to lure me back in. Anyways he agreed to drop the monthly to $300 with taxes on base model.
