What do you think of this deal I was just offered (haven't accepted it yet)...
2015 C 300W 36mth / 15k miles
MSRP: $45,330 Selling Price: $38,630 (actually I think it's a little less, I didn't get the updated price after we dropped payment another $11) 40k mile Maintenance included ($1,299) Dealer Fees are ($450 Tag/Reg Fee, $99 Tag Agency Fee, $700 Dealer Fee)
$541/mth w/ $0 down OR $520/mth w/ $650 down *These include tax and I'm in FL.
I'm asked for $520 w/ $0 down and am waiting to hear back but wondering if I can do better?
With the numbers you've provided, along with the .00136 MF and 60% residual for 36/15, I get a pre-tax payment of $407.08/mo. My guess is that the net cap cost is a bit higher than the selling price - ask the dealer about that and make sure you fully understand all the numbers - OR - the MF has been inflated for a bit of extra dealer profit.
hmmm, perhaps my math is off but I get a number alot closer to there $541 then the $407 (pre tax) number you get....
Fees: $1,822 ($795 + $699 + $230 + 98) ---- Interestingly this differs slightly from what's on the offer sheet but these are the fees I was told prior...
60% Residual: $27,198 MF: .00136 (this is what I'm using for my calculations, I'm not sure what there using but it appears to be close)
I get: Lease Rate: $91.46 Depr: $353.64 Tax: $26.71 Total Payment w/ $0 down: $525.01
I'm still fighting for every dollar and trying to get them $520 w/ $0 down but was wondering if I could do even better then that?
I did not get a copy of the final offer sheet that was down to $$541 w/ $0 down but below is the one right before it....

That makes sense ... you are rolling all the taxes and fees into the selling price. I'm now getting $552.71/mo with $0 down.

The money factor is marked up from the base MF of .00136.
The CAP cost is higher than MSRP? What is the breakdown of the CAP? Most shoppers are seeing big discounts from MSRP. What state and tax rate?
The lease payment calculations are correct for the numbers you have.... but, the numbers you have (MF and CAP cost) are not very good.
What do you think I should be shooting for CAP cost? I'm in Texas by the way, so 6.25%.
Well... Texas explains a lot.. You pay tax on the full selling price. As far as selling price, read back a few pages and see what others are paying.. And, insist on the base money factor.
MB dealer telling me that 48 month lease will help lower payment and that she can get me out in year one or two into a new one because of demand for preowned c class. Does that sound legit to you?
MB dealer telling me that 48 month lease will help lower payment and that she can get me out in year one or two into a new one because of demand for preowned c class. Does that sound legit to you?
Dealers exist to sell and lease cars. They may say just about anything to get you to sign on the dotted line. Residual value is 11% less for 48 months than it is for 36 months. 36 months is the sweet spot for leasing.
Not a good idea to get into a lease if you don't think you will keep the car the entire lease term. Can be very expensive to end a lease early.

Thanks for confirmation. 48 months scares me anyway. I will say that I never have been penalized to get out of a lease early though.
Ok, I'm in the final stages and really need your help. Here is what I have:
Black/Cranbery C300 Sport loaded, Sport Pkg, Multi Media, Heads up, blinsdspot, etc MSRP $50,130 MF .00189 - high I know, but getting $3100 disc + $2K to pay off current lease See Lease terms attached.

I can't open the .pdf file ...
Yes, the MF is marked up on you.
When you say you are "getting $2K to pay off current lease", does that mean they are giving you a check, or is the dealer taking the car in trade?
What is the lease term and how many miles per year?
Yes, they are sending a check to Cadillac to pay off the last 4 payments of $500 each. It's a 15K/36mo lease. Here are the details:
MSRP $50975
Sell Price $47500
Aq Fee $795
Tax $2968 (6.25%)
Payoff $2000
Prepay Maint $975
Cap Cost $54238.75
Down $2475 (First, fees and maint)
Monthly $756.88

Which state is this?
Texas
I'm not surprised .. Texas applies sales tax to the entire selling price of the car, which greatly inflates the lease payment.
With your numbers, along with the base MF of .00136 and the 36/15 residual of 60%, I get a payment of $772.42/mo. Your offer looks pretty strong by comparison.
Little help please. Can someone provide current MF and residual for 7500 mile lease on a c300 4 matic 36mths/7500 miles? Also, understand that Mercedes allows for up to 10 MSD and each deposit drops MF by .00007. Is this correct? Lastly, I have been led to believe base MF is higher when using MSD. Is this true and if so what is the new base? Thx in advance.

.00136 and 64% for 36/7500
MSD's are not allowed on this deal as the MF is already supported (that is, it isn't the standard MBFS MF).
I don't know the particulars of the MB MSD program.
Hi. What would be the lease payment on a 2015 C300 AWD using the following information:
$46330 MSRP
$43491 asking

Hi, would you please provide the MF and RV on the following?
2015 C63 Coupe
10K miles a year, 36 months
Also any other programs besides the $1,500 from The Dream Machine Event? Do they offer any conquest cash as I currently drive an Audi S4.
Thank you in advance, over the last few years you've saved my family and I lots of money.

Hi, I test drove the C300 for the first time and really liked it. The dealer made me the following offer (NY):
Model: C300 (Sport + premium package, pano sunroof, RV camera, blind spot, rear spoiler, heated front seats)
MSRP: $49,365 (incl. $925 destination and delivery)
Selling price: $45,500 (incl. $2500 fleet discount)
Term: 36 months
Miles: 7500 per year
Residual value: $31,593.60
MF: .00176
Offer #1: $3,459.40 due --> $521.97 per month
Offer #2: $1,845.75 due --> $576.03 per month
I think there is more room for discount and the MF seems inflated. Thoughts on the offer? What can be improved?
Thanks!
Base MF is .00136, so your quote does have a marked up MF.
If you are only getting $1300 off sticker then there is absolutely more room to discount. Read back through the last couple of pages of qposts to see what others have been able to negotiate.

.00126 MF was probably with the auto-pay discount, and 62% was probably for 36mo, 12K/yr...
If not, then he was mis-quoting.

That depends on your driving habits. It's always better to get enough miles up front, rather than pay overage charges at the end of your lease.

There is no "sweet spot" on mileage. 15K/yr is standard. 12K/yr is 2% higher or 10K/yr is 3% higher.. Get the mileage allowance you need.
