These money factors look crazy high! I just got quoted a 7% or .00291 money factor with a $5,000 "rebate" cap costs reduction with a 53% residual after 36 months with 10k miles a year on an Jeep SRT 8. I didn't think that was such a great deal but compared to the previously posted numbers it appears to look great?!

Michaell, when you say that the acquisition fee is waived for July, is Chrysler Financial waiving it--i.e. if a dealer is trying to charge me a $995 acquisition fee, that's a dealer add-on?

 Exactly – the bank is waving the acquisition fee, so if you see anything with that name on your contract, you know that it is an add on by the dealer

Every $1000 down lowers your payment on a 36 month lease by about $28. The risk is that if the car is stolen or totaled during the lease, you lose that money.

Thanks again. Are those Chrylser rates? The dealership I'm working with hasn't given me the MF, but I've back calculated it at 0.00159 (which seems high).

I just picked up my Overland, and I got hit with a $395 disposition fee (no acquisition fee, however), which appears to be standard, and the $500 cash rebate couldn't be combined with the $2,500 lease cash.

Hope this helps someone down the road.

Residual is based on the bottom line number of the window sticker (price + destination).

Yes, MF is marked up, if it's a Chrysler Finance lease.

None that we see, other than the acquisition fee being waived again. Use the "Car Research" tab at the top of the page to link to current customer incentives.

I have an offer of $475/mo tax included (Florida) from a dealer on a 4X2 Overland with a MSRP of $46,858. Only the first month's payment is due at delivery. I don't have the break-down of the payments yet, but was wondering if there is any sense as to whether $475/mo tax included is a good deal. I will of course check money factor, residual, etc. when I see the papers. Thanks for all of the help.

Sorry, I should have included the term and miles. It is 36/10. I dont know the selling price, I was just quoted the monthly number--I will get all of the relevant information prior to signing the deal--but wanted to have a sense of where I should end up. Thanks!

On the surface it seems an ok deal, but the devil is in the details.
