$37,250 Inc. Destination & Rear Wind Deflector. I paid dealer $640 + tax for satin chrome side steps installed.

While this might not be the best price, I think it is a reasonable price to pay.

    Piazza Acura of West Chester.

Sounds like a great price. Which dealer in VA did you buy from?

I'm buying a MDX Touring w/ NAV & rear tailgate spoiler, Aspen White Pearl exterior, for $37,068 + TTL. I live in the New Orleans area, but got this price by shopping around in the Houston market. I'm picking it up there on Monday.

    Inveest100: Is this $37500 + tax + tags for the NAV/RES.
    thanks.
  • invest100invest100 Member Posts: 6
Yes It is $37,500 + tags, taxes and processing fee. I had offers between $37,900 - 40,400.
  • gtvdmvgtvdmv Member Posts: 1
I'm wondering if your $33,400 price is excluding tax, tag , license and dealer fees? I'm shopping for a 06 touring (without Nav/DVD). Would $36,500 out the door be reasonable? Thank you.

I'm buying a new '06 MDX Touring (no NAV/DVD) for $33,600 in NJ/NY area ($36,105 out of door). I was wondering if this is a good deal.

I've negotiated $33,500 for an MDX touring from a NJ dealer, wich I am pretty satisfied with.

The question I have for others on the board is about fees on top of the quotes you are receiving.

My dealer has a $185 administrative fee and the liscense and registration is going to cost $360. Does that sound reasonable.? Are others paying similar fees beyond the quotes you are reporting?

    Thanks

I bought mine from a nj dealer at same price.
    total was 33502 + 615 (dest) + (298) title + (360) reg
    + 7 % tax = 37130 out the door

I was told that for each MDX that is sold the dealership is allocated half an RDX so there is this additional incentive to sell MDX's. From this standpoint even if they sell at a loss they will be able to make it up by selling the RDX at sticker.

Cap Reduction is the part of your upfront payment that is applied to reduce the amount financed.. The other $562 is going to the first payment and possibly sales tax on the down payment ($2938.44)

Has anyone purchased (or in the process of purchasing) a new MDX that would be willing to share prices with me? I am planning to purchase in the next 2-3 weeks and would like to understand how the market is. I am willing to travel for a good price so if you live in NC or surrounding state and have pricing information, please share.
  • suzintnsuzintn Member Posts: 19
Is this a good lease Kyfdx? I would liek to know your opinion on if your think the incentives or money factor will get better in August when the new '07 MDX and RDX come out? The current money factor is terrible...suggestions please? Thanks!

    $34915
    $33617
    $34100
    $33500 including destination
    $34100
    $33500 + TTL

    For Premium (base) model:

    $30455 +TTL

    $30850 (including destination)

By the way, based on this info, I made an offer today which went over like a lead balloon... tomorrow is another day!

I too live in Raleigh and tried to get the guys here to honor prices I found on this site about a year ago.... No deal. I called some of the dealerships I would be willing to catch a train/plane to to check if the prices represented here were accurate. They were. So - then I called all of the local dealerships here in Raleigh and in nearby Chapel Hill, Winston, Greensboro etc. and still couldn't get anyone to deal. Finally, I found the Leith Clearance Center in Fayettville. Awesome salespeople to work with there.

I have several posts about this, but my pricing info can be found in Message #2258. Good Luck!

I ended up going with Peoria. I checked all of the dealers and they were willing to deal the most and also give me the most for my trade. I live in the east valley and was not happy about driving that far, but the deal was pretty good. The approach I used was to know what incentives were available to both myself and the dealer. I also made sure to discuss the price of the car separately from the trade. They liked to combine this but I made sure they understood that this was 2 separate transactions. Stick to the price you want and they won't let you walk out the door. If they do, give them your cell if they change their mind. You'll get a call for sure. If you have any more questions, you can just post and I'll keep an eye out for your post. Good Luck.

Thanks for the reply and the reference to message #2258. Now that you have had your MDX about a year, are you still pleased with it? Do you have to run premium gas through it?

Just got a quote on an 06 Navi/Res MDX--38,127.05 plus 299 admin fee. Seems good, but would like to end up a tad lower if possible. My offer was 37,750 period.

Add ons/extras seemed fairly priced except for the Music Link for the Ipod--they want to charge $471 for that. Anybody had one installed? What did you pay?

    thanks

    Is this a good number?

2006 MDX Touring w Nav, Side Molding & Spoiler

    36 Mo Lease
$2,000 down (includes first month payment)
    $37,699 ($37,200 + $499 Dealer fees.)
    Monthly lease payment $532.

I have got quotes from two different dealers: one of $31263 including destination and the other $31774 inc dest.

the only problem is I have a long list of accessories I wanted added to the car so the final price is coming out too high for my budget.
  • henry69henry69 Member Posts: 5
Do you mind sharing the dealer and the car pricing info? Thanks!
  • yellowjacket8yellowjacket8 Member Posts: 6
What kind of deal did you end up with. I live up north and considering MDX.
  • holycoupeholycoupe Member Posts: 11
I was also interested in the Music link, and they called for a ridiculous price, about the same as yours. But, the fact is, if you go to Honda E-store, you can buy it separately or have them installed by designating dealer around you and the cost is? much cheaper. I happened to cut it down to $310 installed in Ohio.

Make sure you know the full functionality. I was talked out of it by a Acura dealer tech I know after I asked about it.
  • vinhividivicivinhividivici Member Posts: 3
I recently got a quote for 41500 out the door for the following:

    touring with nav/dvd
    aspen white P
    fender flares
    sidesteps

thanks guys, and this is in the bay area.

also from now until september do you think it will get any lower?
  • dinnudinnu Member Posts: 17
Do you mind sharing the dealrship name where you got the 39k driveout offer for NAV+RES. The lowest I got so far is 40.4 in Houston and 39.9 in Austin.

    Thanks

I am planning to buy base MDX....Mind sharing dealers name?
  • mdx2bmdx2b Member Posts: 7
That fell through....seemed too shady for me so switched deales. I ended up at 40.5K drive out at Sterling McCall. Not the best price but were the only ones with the color and specs we wanted. If you can get the 40.4 down anymore that would be good for you.

We got a brand new 2006 MDX with only 5 miles last Saturday from Stevens Creek Acura, $35,342 including the destination charge, out the door was $38,608.18. I think it is a pretty good deal so far I've seen
  • vinhividivicivinhividivici Member Posts: 3
wow very nice, were there any other options? and what colour?
  • huellinghuelling Member Posts: 8
We got the sage brush ( the color I liked) with black interior. The good thing to deal with their fleet manager ( his name is Ben) is that there is no hassel, we are in around 4 pm Saturday and out around 7 pm, got a financing at 2.9% 36 months no money down. He doesn't want to sell you anything more but the car and that made the deal a lot easy. It is a great time saving experience for me
  • dinnudinnu Member Posts: 17
Thank You! I was able to get it down to 40K from the same dealer. I think I will go for it.
  • invest100invest100 Member Posts: 6
You should be able to get 2500 below invoice or $37500. I did in VA
  • flevyflevy Member Posts: 18
Who was the dealer in Va? I am looking for Toruing with just NAV in Va.
  • dinnudinnu Member Posts: 17
I am actually getting $3000 below invoice. The quote is for MDX Touring with NAV and RES.

    MSRP: $44,815
    Invoice: $40,442
    Sale Price: $37,400
    Drive Out: $40,000

    hi,
I have been talking to Acura in Peabody, Boston and Framingham. of the three, Herb Connolly in Framingham is offering the best price and seem more willing to strike an aggressive deal. The people in Peabody (which is the dealer closest to where I live) basically told me my offer was unreasonable. Their best offer was $3500 more than Herb Connolly and they told me they were only make $200 on the sale (something doesn't quite add up).

I haven't fully decided on the MDX as it is really bigger than what I want. I thought if I could score the deal of the century it would help me feel better about driving a bigger car than is ideal for me. So far that hasn't happened. I am also looking at the RAV4 and the Jaguar x-type sportwagon (all three are very different in terms of functioning and versatility. The rav is the least expensive, Jag in the middle (out the door at $34K) and MDX the most expensive, but offers boat towing which is somewhat important to us).

    :lemon: :D:blush:

I recently visited a local dealer in VA and he said he was already taking preorders for the 2007 MDX( and a couple of people had booked them at MSRP!!!!)

Anyone heard about august dealer incentives? Does anyone remember what acura offered last year same time, or what was the max incentive. That may provide an indication.

I am almost ready to commit.

    Hi,
Anyone recently purchaseed an 06 MDX Touring w/Navigational system and RES in Seattle,WA area. I was quoted $39100 for this model. I try to get down to $38k - $38,300, but they did not give me a deal. Actually, one dealer gave me a quote for $38,500, but they only have "SILVER" color. There are only 4 Acura dealers around this area. Please advise.
    Thank you very much
  • jawarrjawarr Member Posts: 1
Thanks for the information! What was the difference between the 35,342 and out the door 38,608. Was this the tax on the car or additional accessories? I am just wanting to make sure that there are no hidden costs that I am not aware of.
  • vinhividivicivinhividivici Member Posts: 3
got 41700 otd in the bay area for touring nav with res, with options of fender flares and sidesteps on a pearl white. Was quick and not alot of sale pitch, in and about in about 3 hours. Mostly was waiting for the finance guy to finish with customers before me. I'm excited to see how it will be.
  • huellinghuelling Member Posts: 8
yes, just the tags and tax. Nothing else, we did not buy any accessories at all and don't think it is needed. So good luck with your purchase.
  • mdxer6mdxer6 Member Posts: 8
I ended up getting the MDX w/ Nav in the color and interior I wanted. Price was $36,700 including tint, door edge guards & wheel locks. Got the financing through acura for 60 mo's. They do try to sell you a bunch of stuff after the deal, so make it clear you don't want it. They'll keep asking why, but stick to your guns if you don't want it. i luckly had a pregnant wife with me who was starving so I had a good reason to leave. They understood that. Let me know if you need more info.
