    Costco has dropped to $2.69, while all the rest are still over 3 bucks a gallon for RUG. I can get ULSD for $2.39 at the only Costco selling diesel.

    RUG was 2.53.9 yesterday in Cottage Grove, Or.

    Diesel same price.

    We're back to "Chevy" pricing at the pumps here... like a rock at $2.49 and I'll be surprised if it goes lower any time soon

    $2.90 for Chevron PUG today. Saw a Chevron with $2.65 PUG in Olympia a few days ago.

    There's about a sixty cent differential between RUG and Premium at some stations here too. Don't get it, used to see a dime pop to midgrade and another dime to Premium.

    We've gone under $1.90. $1.85 and dropping like a stone.

    Still dropping at Sam's but not anywhere else around here.

    $2.49 most everywhere, down to $2.36 at Sam's. The 13 cent difference is a bit more than the usual 10

    Kroger by the new house (I'm in!) is $2.489 for RUG.

    The station in the middle of the never ending Main St. construction here is selling RUG for $2.07. The station at Walmart is $2.19.

    Two years ago when we made the mistake of going through Las Cruces it was all torn up. They must still have $billions of Stimulus money they need to spend. Our RUG has dropped into the $2.90 range, Diesel under $2.50 most everywhere.

    They are converting a defunct golf course in midtown to a new housing development with attached medical office complex and had to upgrade all the utility infrastructure going to it. We came close to fixing up a foreclosure not far from there before thinking better of it. The water/sewer project is about 9 months behind schedule.

    Meanwhile I-25 is messed up too with an overpass replacement but I avoid traveling the freeways anyway. There's a new plaza getting build downtown and the usual general construction going on. The new medical school building isn't in the way of anything at least. Kind of a mess, but it's nice to see some activity after 4 years of life in a dead zone.

    I think the cheapest diesel here is $2.37.

    iluvmysephia1 has taken his Allied Healthcare show to the Plains now! With a tad less than 6 years left until I retire I am pulling for this being the last place to work/live. Thinking of Willcox/Benson/Bisbee/Tombstone, AZ areas to retire in in 5 years, 11 months, 23 days, 8 hours and...17 minutes.

    Who's counting, anyway? :)

    Always good to see you posting. I think that is a pretty decent area to retire in. You might check Cottonwood as well. It was nice last time I was through there, about 20 years ago. You would be just up the road from Stever.

    I will check Cottonwood out, gagrice, indeed. AZ or NM would be nice - I'd rather end up in Arizona somewhere. The old cowtown of Willcox and it's close proximity to the Chiricahua Mountains wouldn't be all that bad of a place to retire in at all.

    Beautiful low 90s day here, and it's about ideal out on the patio right now watching the slow progression of the supermoon eclipse.

    @stickguy is reporting RUG at $1.79, $1.99 for mid grade and PUG at $2.19. He's in the South Jersey area.

    Cottonwood is less than 20 miles from Sedona that is a great artsy community. Phoenix is 100 miles. Prescott 35 miles and Flagstaff only 50.

    My guess is Flagstaff, as it's the largest town with the most competition. Sedona gas prices were pretty high when we visited in June.

    Regular is $2.09 at the normal name brand stations here today. Didn't cruise by the discount joints but they are likely hovering around $2 a gallon for RUG.

    We bumped back up 4 to $2.39 on Friday. Might homecoming weekend at PSU have been the impetus? Nah... they'd never do that, would they?

    Mid-grade was $2.539 at the Kroger near my new house. RUG was $2.339.
