    Put $6 worth of gas in the rental this morning before turning it in. $1.71 for RUG. The sign said $1.73 so maybe I scored an extra seven cents.

    $2.75/gallon for premium in Napa, CA / $2.57 is lowest price in the region for regular (North Bay Region).

    California, parts of western Washington and parts of western Idaho have the highest prices in the nation. Why Oregon, which is right in the middle of all these states, does not, is a puzzlement.

    Prices are creeping up here in Colorado ... RUG at Kroger bottomed out at $1.719 a week or two ago ... now it's at $1.769.

    The $2.29 holdouts dropped to $2.25 today. In a strange coincidence, PSU graduation was yesterday and most everyone was getting out of Dodge yesterday ;)

    Gas Buddy says National average for RUG is $1.99. Not in San Diego. I paid $2.39 last week at Costco, today it is back up to $2.53. I have to drive 13+ miles to get that price. Close to home Shell is $3.07. I filled with diesel before our trip to Palm Springs at $2.39. That has not changed, Yet. Prices were higher in Palm Springs. Fortunately I can make two round trips to PS on a single tank of Diesel. Got to love the range of a diesel vehicle.

    You don't have "average" gas in California, it's that designer boutique gas. Gotta pay more for the sweet smelling stuff. :)

    Cheap RUG $2.69 diesel down to $2.24 cash. Local RUG for me is $3.15 for Chevron. Shell $2.99. Always at the leading edge of price hikes down here in the SW corner of the USA.

    California is Gods own State. It would be better if it joined China or Japan and left the USA.

    You do have a point. If not for China producing the products developed in CA we would already be bankrupt and totally owned by Japan and China. They are buying significant chunks of our real estate. Maybe the Feds should just give China all the Federal lands in exchange for the debt owed to them.

    The Feds should ask for documentation of the sources of money flowing in from some those places, and the backgrounds of those holding the money. Same for the real estate market in much of the Seattle area.

    I think I paid $2.68 for Chevron PUG yesterday.

    Got company this weekend and the friend over from Texas is on day 48 of his 50 day reporting requirement to get another Gasbuddy badge. He doesn't miss a gas station although he can only get credit for 4 reports a day or something.

    What do you get for reporting stations. I have only reported when there is an error.

    Put gas in my brother's Odyssey last night at a Speedway in Chattanooga for $1.57 a gallon for regular.

    The low oil prices should help Tennesseans. Not much oil money here that I know of and the state has been leading the nation in the number of consumer bankruptcies for a while.

    The states with lots of small fracking companies may see more action in the bankruptcy courts.

    I have no idea when I'm going to next buy gas, the F150 has over 150 miles left until empty, the Fusion has over a 1/4 left and when I drove my mom's car today to put some miles on it today, the DTE read 392.

    Price down here today. Filled PU @ $2.74. Same station diesel down to $2.29. That is the CC price. Some stations as low as $2.67 Cash.
