That's the first time I've seen the markup for midgrade about right. Here, it's too high, given the smaller octane boost over regular.

Filled up one of the kid's cars after I got it serviced yesterday.
She;s out of town on a business trip.
Credit price was 20 cents more than cash(2.999/3.199).
I was already there, so I filled it anyway.
If I had known her MIL was going to borrow it right after I put it back in the garage, I would have skipped the fillup.
Put some gas in the Explorer today at a different station, DTE read zero.
Credit price was only 4 cents more than cash.

Figured out my local Shell station never changes the price of PUG. It's always $4.19. Doesn't matter if RUG is $2.68 or $3.08.

Now that you say that, I think some are the same here.
Station I went to today was 2.999 for RUG 3.799 for mid grade.
I don't think I've ever seen a difference that large before.

I think PUG at the neighborhood Chevron was $4.50 this morning - I thought it would be cheaper by now

I'll be visiting Costco later this week, we'll see what it is there.

$3.49 PUG today when I filled up the Arteon for next week's commute.

That $0.60 spread is half of what it is, at home. Wish we had PUG that cheap

In preparation for our trip to WI on Friday, I topped off the truck.
Second time I put gas in it. $3.299 for RUG. Should have shopped around.
18.6 gallons, just over half a tank, and 18.7 mpg.
A station near where we are going has zero ethanol PUG, so I'm going to fill up with that for the return trip.

$2.05/gal for regular and $2.35/gal for mid grade today at Kroger.

I paid $1.55/gal for mid grade after my reward discounts.

Plenty of places where regular is under $2/gal here in Denver.

Wow. I paid $3.42 for PUG last Saturday. RUG is $2.65

I can't remember the last time I saw gas prices that low, maybe 2008?
Lowest I've seen here is about $2.56 for RUG.

I like the chart! Back in 2020, I was still in CT but looked at my spreadsheet and did see paying $1.70/$1.80 a couple of times that year.
