We don't track selling prices, but agree that the 2016 should have a bigger discount. Lease numbers are about the same - lower MF but a lower residual as well.

And I am a novice on leases, so requesting one more piece of feedback: For an MSRP of $29,600 (before the $700 lease cash) with their current 0 DP, 0 1st offer, what should the monthly lease be? I tried using an online calculator and am getting $360. Does 0 at signing really mean that, i.e. nothing extra for title, registration, etc.?

Need to know the MSRP to calculate a payment.

There is a difference between $0 down and $0 due at signing - usually there are a number of costs that are due at the beginning of a lease:

First payment
Acquisition fee
Dealer fee
DMV costs
Up front sales tax (if required - in Texas you can pay up front or add to the selling price)

Use the Make/Model/Year tabs at the top of the page to get Edmunds TMV price, and see how that stacks up to your deal. We don't track selling prices.

On the surface, your payment seems pretty good, relative to the MSRP.

1) You can still lease a 2016 CX-5, at least through August
2) No idea on that.
3) .00006 MF and 57% residual for 36/15. $500 lease cash
.00001 MF and 62% residual for 33/15. $500 lease cash.
33 month term should save some money.
