Looking for the base MF and residual % on 2016 Mazda CX-5 Touring AWD, 36/12, in VA and MD.
Also, you have mentioned the $500 cash, is there a stipulation? Military, loyalty, etc.
Thanks.
57% and .00013.

Thanks Michaell, this is my first lease. I assume this MF is not common knowledge and they will try and get me to agree to something higher. Is the calculation of .00013x2400=.312 APR accurate. That seems like a great APR, no? In comparison a similar forester is at .00100x2400=2.4 APR.

The conversion is correct (MF x 2400=approximate APR), but if you don't like the car, then a low MF won't do you much good.

Looking to buy a new 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD Sol Red & Parchment Leather, no other options. in Minnesota.
Got worksheet from dealer emailed to me. confusing as heck.
MSRP 30650 Price: 30399 (is this the cap cost? cause not enough off? - should be like $800 off? of MSRP), Says money factor .00017, term 39 months
Cash $4,000. (she wrote in this is "$1,995 down + TTL guessing to be about another $2000") but yet worksheet also says tax is: 2394.80, Govt fees (guessing license?) $378.75, DOC fee $75.00,
Seems like the numbers are all screwy and missing some info? I'll see if I can post it here.
Basically she's telling me it's $280/month and about $4,000 total due at signing $1,995 down + TTL) for 10k miles a year and 39 months. but the worksheet does not look that way, correct?

Is it 39mo, 10K/yr? If so, the money factor and residual are correct.
Usually a screenshot like that will show the actual adjusted CAP cost. That seems to be missing here.
Which state is this? The tax looks way too high. Which brings me back to the CAP cost. You need to know the cap cost and how much of the $4500 is going to CAP reduction. Also, no mention of the acquisition fee.
Yes, 39mo, 10K/yr. Yes seems to have info missing and numbers that do not add up. She kept emailing that it'd be $280/month with "about $4,000 down" but also saying that We are only putting $1995 down. but to me, reading the worksheet, it looks like $4,000 down, plus tax title & license & fees, etc. what I add up to be about $6,848.55 due at signing. I kept asking WHAT IS THE TOTAL DUE AT SIGNING/UPON DELIVERY, kept getting "about $4,000". which does not make sense. if it's $4,000 down + TTL, etc that would explain the high taxes right?
ok, she just sent this: "I'm sorry its so confusing- To get to the $280 (OAC) a month payment we would need you to bring $4000 to the table. This would cover tax, title, license, fees plus the CAP COST. This is for a 39 month lease with 10,000 a year. Priced based on a 2016 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring BASE (no TECH package or Iactive). Soul Red with Parchment interior."
I'll take that deal if it's $280/mo and total due at signing is $4k. 2016 CX5 GT AWD 39mo 10k/year, but I bet it's $6848.55 total due at signing or somewhere around there. I asked her to please make or have someone make a full complete worksheet and send it. wow, so painful this is. why I hate buying a car.
btw, I got this from another dealer - fast and easy - but higher than what she is claiming to offer us:
"I see you are looking at getting a lease for 36 months 36,000 miles on the 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring in Soul Red/Parchment leather interior. With $1,999.00 down plus taxes, title and license fees the payment will be $318/mo. o.a.c. the estimated total of these fees will be about $4,162 due at signing." MSRP $30,650 - Discount $750 = PRICE $29,900"
also, the Mazda lease program is 36months 10k miles a year. but what is the best rate/deal? 39 months? or 36 months? or is there a better term? like 30 months or 48 months? any of those would be fine but I'd rather be around 36-39months.

It's .00001 MF and 58% residual for 36/10.
Probably a slightly higher monthly price for that.
Could anyone tell me what the current leases are on a 2016 CX-5 Grand Touring AWD with Tech and I-ActiveSense Packages? I am looking for a 15k lease with $0 down. Probably 36 months, but would be open to a 33 or 39 month if one is better (is 33 month still sweet spot?)

what is the best rate to go with monthly term wise? we only need 10k miles a year. and we'd be fine with anything from a 30, 33, 36, 39 up to 48 month lease. is one of those month terms a lot better deal than the rest? no idea on this stuff.

ok, finally got the full (I'm hoping) lease worksheet from the dealer. For some reason it's on 2 pages??? never seen that before. also with all the info I'm lost as to the price, I'm paying etc.
This is for a 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD Sol Red w/Parchment leather - no tech, no i-sense packages - MSRP $30,650 And they say they are throwing in a FREE 2 way remote engine start
39/month/10k miles a year. $3,500 total due at signing $293.62 a month.
MSRP should be $30,650 (Invoice is $29,778 - saying fair purchase price s/b $30,037 with the $880 destination fee)
If I'm reading the lease worksheet correctly: 1) the Cap cost $31,447.75 is a lot higher than the MSRP? why? 2) The price for the vehicle is $30,399? if so that's not much of a discount. s/b about another $350 off? Yet the monthly payment $293.62 with $3,500 total due at signing seems low? what am I missing?
Got this online: Destination Fee $880 Total Fair Purchase Price $30,037 Estimated Tax & License for 55428 - $2,373 Out-the-Door Target Price $32,410
This is Minnesota - so I think we pay all the lease term $ taxes upfront??? Here is what they emailed me: make sense? everything there? is this good? bad? ugly? Thanks in advance.

I get the same payment. We don't recommend making a down payment on a lease - that money is at risk if the car is stolen or totaled.
$2400 in taxes seems like a lot. I thought MN taxes the monthly payment; at worst, it calculates the tax on the sum of the payments. Only a few states tax the entire selling price.
