Just a reference for you folks. Here is the latest local offer for the base RWD Q50 with no options. Based on MSRP of $38,055 on a 39mo/10K lease with destination, bank fee, DMV and first payment included. $259/mo before tax, zero drive off.
I don't know the net cap cost for this but it would be easy to estimate if mods provide the MF and residual. This is the published offer, so a shrewd negotiator could probably get better terms.
Can you give me the MF and Residual on these 2 models, looking at 36 or 39 month lease 12k miles per year in NJ Q50 AWD Premium Nav Q50 AWD Premium Nav Deluxe
Can you give me the MF and Residual on these 2 models, looking at 36 or 39 month lease 12k miles per year in NJ Q50 AWD Premium Nav Q50 AWD Premium Nav Deluxe
Would anyone be able to tell me if this is a good deal or if I could possibly negotiate this down. It's for a 2015 Q50 Premium RWD w/ Nav Package. I'm in Los Angeles, CA if that somehow makes a difference on the MF or anything like that. Was also wondering what the Net Cap Cost on this is. I only think the residual price is listed as the "Payment Purchase"...Thanks!
@lukeryan Funny how they name the document, Customer Disclosure, but don't really disclose much.
No, they don't give a selling price or CAP cost.
.00032 MF and 53% residual.
Can't really tell you specifics, but $1473/mo upfront and $309/mo. looks like a pretty low payment for a $43K MSRP vehicle.
No need to pay the acquisition fee upfront. You can roll that into the payment. That would knock your upfront down to about $700, and add $20/mo. to the payment.
@kyfdx, yeah I'm not sure why he didn't include the selling price or CAP cost in there. I kinda fooled around with the Edmunds' calculator and put in all of the numbers he's already provided (including the MF and residual % that you've listed here) and I've deduced that the selling price is probably $34K and CAP cost $33K, b/c he did mention something about him being able to knock an additional $1,000 off from the selling price. I think I'm gonna walk into a dealership soon and just tell them I have an offer of $295/mo. on the table elsewhere, but they don't have the color I want in their inventory and if they can match that price, I will sign immediately. I doubt they let me walk out of there.
I have a G37x with 3 months left on my lease. Inifiniti has in place the pull ahead program which waives 2 of my payments and expires March 31, 2016. So the bottom line if I take advantage of this before 03/31 I will be free and clear of my lease. I have 2 offers by phone as they called me from my dealer In Long Island, NY. Of course these are the first #'s given as I am sure they will go down. I do not have any specifics of how they arrived at these #'s but they do seem decent to start. Will get that info once I go to the dealer. One more thing my existing lease will be waived.

If you look at the Infiniti website they have a limited edition called the Q50 Signature AWD. It seems to be a base model with upgraded wheels and navigation spoiler. Stickers out at about $40,000
I finally went to the dealer to try and work out a deal here is the new offer. The Signature Edition is out and the new price for the Q50 Premium AWD with splash guards is now:
$344.00 (includes tax) + $1360.00 down (includes 1st, acq fee, DMV and taxes)
There was a hint that they may go a little lower, so let see if that is true. Yes you are correct time is on my side.
Do you guys recommend any particular lease payment calculator? I was using the Edmunds one and I have developed a spreadsheet based on the article "Calculate Your Own Car Lease Payment" from Edmunds, but I'm not sure if either of them are accurate. I want to be able to see if an offer that a dealership is giving me is accurate on the spot. If anyone has a spreadsheet download they would recommend, I would be happy to use that too.
Also, I have been trying to find out how tax on a car lease is calculated in upstate NY. Does anyone have any insight or an article to point me to?

The home built one from the article is what I use here in the forums.
Guys, Just got approved for an Infiniti Q50 Premium w/ NAV and Illuminated Kickplates for $320 a month incl. tax and $500 total out of pocket. Original deal was $295 a month incl. tax and $1473 total due, but I'm rolling $973 worth of inception fees into my monthly so I only have to dish out $500. I went into the dealership yesterday and test drove it, then sat down with the dealer and told him $295 was my number and I'm not paying more than that end of story. He let me walk out of the dealership yesterday without a car and called me today telling me that they had approved the deal. I highly encourage anyone out there who wants a Q50 to use my numbers as a guideline because I'm pretty sure I got an absolute steal of a deal!

Hi! I would totally appreciate an opinion on this deal I have for a 2015 Q50 sport. Here are the terms.
Q50 Sport MSRP - $46,600 Terms: 39mo X 15K miles At signing: $1,430 (includes 1st payment) Payment w/ 6% tax: $494 Dealership to make 2 remaining payments on my BMW totaling $1,376 MF was .00032 RV was 50%
Thoughts? Do you think I can do better? Was going to push for nothing at signing plus getting to make a 3rd BMW payment which will be owed regardless.

Would need to know the net cap cost to fully evaluate the deal.
I confirm the .00032 MF and 50% RV for RWD Sport 39/15.
I would be careful about the disposition of your current lease - are they taking possession of that car? If not, you would still be on the hook for any end of lease charges.

They will not take posession of my current car. They will only remit payment for 2 of 3 outstanding car payments. I will still get the car inspected and hand it over to BMW.
Without the net cap cost but considering the 2 payments do you think i can do better?

You are basically eating the last 3 payments on your current lease. Because if the dealer is covering those payments, then they could give you a better deal, if they weren't.
The Q50 has always been cheap to lease. Why lease it now, when you have 3 months to go on your current lease.

I am 6,200 miles over on my BMW and out of warranty. Getting out of the car now would avoid further overage at 20 cents per mile. I would also like to avoid any mechanical issues that might pop up over the next 3 months.

No need to pay the acquisition fee upfront. You can roll that into the payment. That would knock your upfront down to about $700, and add $20/mo. to the payment.

I don't want to continue to lease BMW's so regardless I will be responsible for paying the extra miles since I'm not getting another BMW. By exiting the car now, I mitigate the extra mile expense (because I will hand the card it early) and any potential financial losses if there is an issue with the car while driving out of warranty over the next 3 months.
