I am new to leasing and just realized. Because the lease is for 12k miles per year over 39 months, will I have to replace the tires during the lease? Especially because they are run flat tires (wear faster).
Also, are there other items that would need to replaced over the lease, other than just changing the oil/rotating tires?

Depends on your driving habits. I'm on my 3rd set of tires in 40,000 miles on my current lease. Either I'm tougher on tires than I realize, or I'm choosing tires that wear faster than normal.

I get $375/mo plus tax with those numbers. Confirm the net cap cost - if higher than the sale price, make the dealer bridge the gap to your satisfaction.
And is the tax calculated just on the 8.875% tax of the monthly payment? So would the total be $408?
This seems high please let me know.

Depends on the state - if this is NY, tax is assessed on the sum of the payments as is either paid up front or added into the cap cost.
I am negotiating a deal currently
I have a trade in ('13 JX35) least with 9 payments left @ $685 = $6165 (Residual from this lease is $32,619)
The current offer on a Premium Q50:
MSRP: 44,100
52% residual
39 Mo lease @ 10k/yr
3% interest rate
$850 down and includes 1st payment
Payment = $499 + tax
Sound like a good deal? Haven't traded in a lease for another lease before. thanks!
I'd want to know where the remaining payment on the old lease are going. It could be added into the new lease, which you don't want. Get the payoff value from Infiniti, then determine what the trade value is. That will tell you if you have positive or negative equity.
Just wanted to share the new ad from OC Infiniti. The deal I got last month actually got better and monthly payments dropped to $259. I would've leased the Hybrid... oh well.

I'm still confused by this...so how much would the monthly extra cost be? I just want to be able to tell the dealer that I'm calculating x amount and he's coming in at x amount higher. Is it 8.875% of the selling price divided by the months? Sorry don't get it.

If the base payment is $400 for 39 months, the sum of the payments is $15,600. 8.875% of that number is $1365. That amount is either paid up front or added to the cap cost.

I'm not sure what either one is, but we used the following ad as a base to start the negotiation. They basically lowered the monthly to $370 and upgraded the model to one that includes navi.

That isn't an offer, but an ad.
You can do better if you negotiate a better selling price. Without knowing the selling price, it's hard to tell you if you are getting a good deal or a great deal.
@Michaell a comment you wrote picqued my interest. Some time between now and the end of my next lease term I will apply for a mortgage in LA. The lease will be my only debt and I would like it as low as possible without the danger of paying down cap cost. You wrote: "base payment is $400 for 39 months, the sum of the payments is $15,600. 8.875% of that number is $1365. That amount is either paid up front or added to the cap cost."
Can I pre-pay the tax on any lease? Is there the same danger as paying down cap cost? Does it only make sense if I firmly believe I will ride the lease the entire term?

CA taxes the lease payment monthly; other states calculate the total lease tax and collect it up front.

Do the numbers match up now? It seems like there's a lot of additional fees, not sure if they are standard for all leases? Thanks for your help!
I get $427/mo with tax using your numbers, so your quote is better than that.
So... good deal? Or should I keep looking?
I don't make decisions with other peoples money .. if you're comfortable with the selling price, no reason not to pull the trigger. Like I said, I get a higher payment than your quote.

Sales tax in Texas is pretty high, so that's what you need to find out first. Texas charges tax on the full selling price. It could easily be the full difference in payments.

Brakes? Again, depends on your driving habits.
Beyond that, just normal maintenance.

Due at signing: $808.40 (includes first month payment)
Payment: $418.13/mo
Gross cap: $39,612 ($700 acquisition fee)
Net cap: $40,822 (includes $1210 cap tax)
Do the numbers match up now? It seems like there's a lot of additional fees, not sure if they are standard for all leases? Thanks for your help!

I don't make decisions with other peoples money .. if you're comfortable with the selling price, no reason not to pull the trigger. Like I said, I get a higher payment than your quote.

You'll have to check with a dealer for the residual reduction for the extra 9750 miles.
Don't have any info on lease incentives for Infiniti.
