Picked it up today, deal as promised only 250 down plus check for 3100 to cover my lease will post official numbers later. Shocked at deal, thank you Michael for all of your help. Best dealer experience ever.
@g6leaser Be careful with turning in your old lease. Don't rely on anyone at the dealership, regarding possible lease-end charges. Even if you pre-pay all of your payments, it could still be considered early termination, and leave you liable for hefty additional charges.
Contact the leasing bank, and get everything in writing. Sometimes, it's cheaper to just keep the vehicle and turn it in at lease end.
I called ally on numerous occassions and was told there were no early termination fees or disposition fee, should have been recorded. I will contact again just in case.

Maybe this isn't the best forum for this question as it is sort of a general leasing question-but I'll try here.
When I see these figures given for residuals-say 51% for 36/10-is that residual just for the base price of the car-with the residual for the options figured differently-or does it apply no matter what options/trim level you are looking to lease. ?
For example, assuming the miles and term are equal-would the residual be the same for a base model Q50 as for say a Q50 Premium with Deluxe Touring Package. Or would the residual only apply to the base price with the options having a lower residual.
It seems I read that somewhere before, but I could be mistaken-though it kind of makes sense to me, as most options on a car seem to depreciate faster than the car itself.

A fair question.
The residual value percentage applies to the bottom line number of the window sticker - base MSRP, options, and destination charge.
For the 2015 Q50, there are different residual numbers for different trims - one for base, and another for the Premium and Sport trims.
And, you're right - in many cases, higher level trims have lower residuals.
Please ignore my last one - this is the one I think I will go with. Sorry, last one (promise)! I found one with a few less options (but enough for me), but a much better payment and a color I prefer. Here are the numbers. Is the money factor and everything correct in this equation for Maine?

Uh huh. Sure. Until the next one.
I'm within pennies of that quote (rounding error). Looks good.
Soxfan - I would see if they would knock another 1k or even 1.5k off the sale price - they are wanting to move the 15s in my opinion. I just got a 15 Hybrid AWD Premium MSRP 50010 for 428/month with only $250 down - dealer incentivized another 900 in the deal for me. I know Hybrid is a different car than the Q50 itself but since it's a 15 - might as well ask -- your thoughts everyone - is it asking too much?
They told me that this was pretty much the end of the road. I feel like I'm getting a pretty good deal though. Especially because they are going to go to another dealer about 4 hours away and get me exactly the colors and options that I want. I feel pretty good about it!
Sox - that's all that matters, you need to be happy with the deal and exhausted all other options/dealers/vehicles and if you are ok with the payment and happy with the ride - go for it!!! No regrets!!!
Wanted to take a moment to thank Michaell and the forum for helping me negotiate what I considered a great lease on the '15 Q50. Unfortunately, the ones they were going to get me on dealer trade have now sold, so it's back to the drawing board!!
Considering an AWD Chrysler 300 Limited or Anniversary edition. Would love to know their MF and RV at 36 mo. I know this is the Infiniti forum so I posted it on the '2016 Chrysler 300 forum too.

That's a bummer that your car got sold out from under you. But, with inventory shrinking, everybody's looking for that great deal.
My 2015 Q50 Premium Lease Deal Closed Yesterday, So.California:
2015 Q50 Premium with Navigation MSRP:$43,255 SALE PRICE: $33,055 CAP COST: $34,178 (IncludesAcq +DMV fees) RES.VAL: $22,060 (51%) TERM: 39 months, @10k, miles year MF: .00030 (.72%)
$0 DUE AT SIGNING (SIGN & DRIVE) PAYMENT: $327 plus sales tax for 38 more months
Total cost=$12,426 for 39 months, so true monthly is actually only $319+tax/mo
These '15s are flying out of dealerships and manufacturer incentives expire June1 so dealers are pushing these hard, many are sold out of them. I strongly advise anyone set on this car to close the deal this week. I can tell you where to go; I looked everywhere from Mexican Border to Fresno, btw. If you have good credit, and don't care about the color, you can get one for under $300/ month with nothing due. And always, always compare lease offers by requesting the dealers $0 due at signing offer-not $0 Down, but $0 out of pocket total due from buyer at close.. if they give you a figure such as "$0 down, $400/month plus 1999 drive off", tell them to convert it to a $0 total due, $0 drive offs...You can always go back and put some money down after you've found the best price if you're into lower monthlies. (don't recommend that, though) . Good luck.

Hi,
can you let me know which So Cal dealership this is? it would make it easier for me to negotiate with them. Thx !!
G6Leaser--the incentives aren't direct to buyer, like a $1000 Conquest Rebate, they're not really published, but if you do the math you can see that Infiniti HQ is giving the dealers about $4500 credit on the back end, (so the sale price is $10k less than MSRP) and the interest rate on the Q50 '15lease is less than 1% (.00033MF)!
NIgai27--if you private message me I can send you the link. They had only a Bronze Premium base and Red Premium w/Nav left. I don't think we can name actual dealers in Edmunds..???

Tustin is the highest volume Infiniti dealer in the US, so you're likely to get the best prices there. I just scored a 14% discount on my 2016 QX60 in April from them, and their GM has been with the dealer for my last 4 Infiniti leases. Just do your homework first.

i was able to get the same deal on a MSRP 43755 vehicle yesterday in Orange County, CA. Most of the dealers nearby have very limited color options. i was lucky to find my color choice ( Black with beige interior)
Hi Folks, Another "is this a good leasing deal" question....
Got a mailer from a local Infiniti dealer in the Los Angeles area.
2015 Q50 4dr Sedan RWD Premium (Bose audio but no nav system) 39 mo/ 10K miles $1,799 due at signing. MSRP 43,600 Selling price 29,850 Monthly lease $199+tax MF: don't know Acq fee: around $700, IIRC.
Also, I've been told that the 2015 is faster than the 2016, is this true?
Hello again, Quick update to my post, above. I have been told by one person that the car does come with a nav system and another that it does not. Guess I'll see when I visit the dealer.
Try for 10500 to 11,000 off sticker. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The dealer said $37,750 or $8,500 off MSRP is the best he can do because they are losing $1,000 on the deal.,..
I offered to sign today if they will do $36.500, I think they are firm at $37.750 even though they have quite a few 2015's in stock.

------------------ Hey ZakMccann, Yes, that is a great deal...if your numbers, which I've summarized below are correct. $1799 + $7562 (38x$199) =$9,361 TOTAL PAID for 39 months or $240/month . If its MSRP is 43k, then it's surely got Nav, I've yet to see a '15 over $43k that doesn't have navigation. Base premium is 40,905, +Nav is $1400-so it's the only way to get to 43.6k, [tech package $3200, the other options are leather $1,000, then minors like split seats, kick plates, splash guards {450, 400, 250}.] I find the $29,850 sale price surprising. It's too low to be true. Perhaps this is a prior loaner. Confirm the numbers with the dealer and if it's correct, (have them convert it to a $0 total due at signing lease (about $246+tax) then run, don't walk down there to lease it. I owuld be surprised if it's still on the lot come Monday. Which dealer is this is SoCal?

--------------- Hey BlackStealth 9,
Don't let them insult your intelligence with that old BS line about "losing money on the car". When they say that tell them you don't believe it and will only believe it if they'll show you their books, including their financial statements and tax returns for the last three years, so your accountant friend can audit and confirm that claim. What they really mean is that they are selling it below invoice which, due to hidden rebates and other manufacturer to dealer incentives on the back-end, is an almost meaningless figure these days. I"ve heard that dealers pay less than 60% of the invoice for each unit. Sure they have additional costs such as employees, rent, and interest, but they are not, not losing money on the car...and don't forget they also have two other businesses-service and used cars.
Don't pay over $0 due at close with $400/mo for that car-offer them $0 total due at signing for $350 month. This is assuming you have good credit score.

Hi straightdope,
First off, thanks for the response, it's greatly appreciated.
Now the fun part... I went to the dealer on Saturday and found out that they had NO 2015 Q50 RWD Premiums on the lot, so that lease deal was a no go from the start! I don't believe this was a bait and switch, just maybe that they sold the last one or two they had on hand that would qualify for that deal, even though I spoke to sales on Friday. Now they say that they will be getting some additional 2015's but only those with the Deluxe Touring and Nav packages. The lease numbers for those models weren't what I was looking for so I don't think I'd go that route.
They offered to sell me the car (Touring+Nav version) outright at something like $43+K or with a "lease-and-pay-it-off-in-3-months" kind of deal for $38K (the sales mgr told me that there was no pre-payment penalty or any other charges to buy out the lease in 3 months). I hadn't researched these options so I re-checked TrueCar and Edmunds and these prices seem a bit higher than what Truecar would call an exceptional price of about $37.5K and what Edmunds has as an average price at around $36.8K (I hope I'm reading those sites correctly). We couldn't agree on a price but since the cars aren't in yet I have a day, maybe two, to see if something could be worked out. I understand that the 2015s are being cleared out so there isn't a lot of selection but I also don't really want all those options. Is $38K a good price or should I stick to a lower offer?
BTW, the MF on the cars they didn't have ( ;-) ) was .0003 and on the "enhanced" versions was .0006. Is it normal to adjust the MF based on optional packages? Just curious.
And the kicker is that now that this great lease offer isn't available I'm looking at the Q50 hybrid as it's supposedly "sportier" than the regular one - or so I was told. To be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed by the performance of the Q50 compared to the G37 that I have. I understand that these are intended for different market sectors but, still, I like the way the G37 handles.
Thanks again for your previous help. Any further assistance or suggestions would also be greatly appreciated.
The MF for all AWD Q50's is .00003 - no bump based on trim. The bump is the dealer attempt to add more profit to the deal. RWD MF is .00030, and the Hybrid MF is either .00043 (RWD) or .00025 (AWD).

PAYMENT: $327 plus sales tax for 38 more months
Good luck.
The only thing I would add... is to pay your DMV fees upfront, as they are not taxable. Once you roll them in, they get taxed in the payment.

can you let me know which So Cal dealership this is? it would make it easier for me to negotiate with them. Thx !!
NIgai27--if you private message me I can send you the link. They had only a Bronze Premium base and Red Premium w/Nav left. I don't think we can name actual dealers in Edmunds..???
Just no contact information (email or phone #'s)

Tustin is the highest volume Infiniti dealer in the US, so you're likely to get the best prices there. I just scored a 14% discount on my 2016 QX60 in April from them, and their GM has been with the dealer for my last 4 Infiniti leases. Just do your homework first.

Try for 10500 to 11,000 off sticker.
Another "is this a good leasing deal" question....
Got a mailer from a local Infiniti dealer in the Los Angeles area.
2015 Q50 4dr Sedan RWD Premium (Bose audio but no nav system)
39 mo/ 10K miles
$1,799 due at signing.
MSRP 43,600
Selling price 29,850
Monthly lease $199+tax
MF: don't know
Acq fee: around $700, IIRC.
Also, I've been told that the 2015 is faster than the 2016, is this true?
Greatly appreciate any help/insights.
Quick update to my post, above. I have been told by one person that the car does come with a nav system and another that it does not. Guess I'll see when I visit the dealer.
I was also just told that the MF is 0.003.

Hi,

The dealer said $37,750 or $8,500 off MSRP is the best he can do because they are losing $1,000 on the deal.,..
I offered to sign today if they will do $36.500, I think they are firm at $37.750 even though they have quite a few 2015's in stock.
Hey ZakMccann,
Yes, that is a great deal...if your numbers, which I've summarized below are correct.
$1799 + $7562 (38x$199) =$9,361 TOTAL PAID for 39 months or $240/month .
If its MSRP is 43k, then it's surely got Nav, I've yet to see a '15 over $43k that doesn't have navigation. Base premium is 40,905, +Nav is $1400-so it's the only way to get to 43.6k, [tech package $3200, the other options are leather $1,000, then minors like split seats, kick plates, splash guards {450, 400, 250}.]
I find the $29,850 sale price surprising.
Hey BlackStealth 9,
Don't let them insult your intelligence with that old BS line about "losing money on the car".
