Can you tell me if these numbers check out? 39 month 15k a year 2015 AWD sport MSRP $52,130, sell price $46,903. tax 8% ohio. mf is claimed .00012 residual is 3%. tax in payment $559 a month.
I confirm the .00012 and 53% numbers for 39/15 on the AWD Sport. With your numbers, I'm showing a pre-tax payment of $503.15; 8% tax takes the payment to $543.40.
Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is - and get them to explain how they got that number from the sell price.

Your attachment is a bit fuzzy. But, the extra miles should only add $25/mo to your payment. Are you adding $2750 of negative equity to your deal? If so, that's another $70/mo.
Back that out of the $550/mo payment quoted and your at $455/mo .. which is pretty good for a car that stickers at $45K.
Hey, looking to finalize deal on Q50 Sport AWD in NY... Whats the MF and residual for 39 months, 12k a year? I was quoted 55% and .000012 which seems off but payment comes in line with expectations.

So I just got this offer for a 2015 Q50 base. 12k miles, 39 months. Am I getting ripped off? First thing I noticed is an error in the Gross Capitalized Cost. It should be $240.78 less. Looks like the final selling price should be much lower. I'm in Texas by the way.
Does anyone know of Infiniti tends to offer better residuals at the beginning or end of a model cycle. My current lease will be ending in July and I don't know if I will get a better deal on a 15' or if I should wait for the 16'

Generally, residuals are best at the beginning of the model year; however, MF are usually the highest to compensate.
You may get a better selling price on a closeout 2015 than you would on a brand new 2016.
Quick question: if I understand MSD's correctly you can do a max of 9, each of which reduces your MF by .0001 - if the base MF is .00012 then the MSD MF would be .00003 - is that correct? Thx
Yes.
Um...no. You can do one deposit to reduce the MF to 0.00002, not 9 deposits to bring it to 0.00003.

Hey guys, so I took a mini break from haggling prices on the Q50. Yesterday, I just decided to hit up another dealership and threw out an aggressive number of $350 a month with just 1st month payment and dmv upfront. After some back and forth and a good nights sleep, i was able to persuade them to give me the following:
2015 Q50 AWD Premium: (Nav, Spare, Mats, Splash guards) 39 months - 12k/yr MSRP: $44,940 Sale price: $35,715 Due at signing: $650 Monthly incl. Tax: $357
Numbers on point???
BTW, I'm in NY. Unfortunately, they don't have Black on Graphite, but I have the choice of Graphite or Malbec on Graphite. Not sure which to go with if I do decide to take the deal.

That's ~$3000 below invoice and looks like a great deal at face value. How about you share the dealership info so I can call them to get a similar deal? Best I've been able to get is $500 under invoice.

Hey hollawood....
I was interested in that lease quote you received ...im from the NY area and was wondering what dealership quoted you that great lease deal. I was looking at the q50 myself. Haven't gone to any dealership but which dealer quoted you that ..Pepe or Greenwich Infiniti?
I would sign that deal tonite.
My friend leased a 2013 g37x without navigation $2200 down and $330 a month....the Q50 at 650 down and 357 a month is a great deal. Would be great to know what dealer in NY gave you that quote because ill be there tomorrow to sign up for that deal myself.
Thanks
So this is what I got. Trying to get a Q50 Hybrid fully loaded... well here are the details.
2015 Q50 Hybrid prem 2wd (With tech pack, nav pack, illuminated kick, and window tint) (Texas)
MSRP 53,050 Sales Price 48,759 39 months 15k miles At signing first month and fees (1,000 aprox) Monthly 608.97 Residual used 55% MF 0.001
Trying to get this to $550 or below. Got another Infiniti dealer quote me at around $560 but don't have the final details yet. They are telling me that march is the close out month for infiniti Don't know if thats entirely true or just a sales pitch.
What do you think? Was planning on putting down an extra thousand to make it 20 to 30 bucks less a month.
Also, have anyone here received complimentary maintenance for the lease of half the lease. Received an offer from Lexus IS250 with maintenance. But the IS50 doesn't compare to the Q50.

We show the base money factor of .00050, so it looks like your dealer may be marking that up... That's a pretty substantial difference, and may be why they are $50/mo. higher than the other dealer.
Thanks kyfdx.. Went to other dealers and got a better offer at another place. Q50 Hybrid all packages (nav and tech) 15K miles 39 months $495 MF they are using the one you stated.. 0.00050 MRSP $53,545 Sales price.. don't know it yet..
I've crunched the numbers and the dealer does not want to meet me there. They stated that when they punch the numbers into their lease program there is no way that they can meet this monthly payment. Are my calculations wrong or is the dealer not willing to play ball?
2015 Infiniti Q50S Nav/Tech/Deluxe Touring
MSRP: $53520 Base Cap Cost: $47736 Cap Cost Reduction: $1000 Adjusted Cap Cost: $46736 Residual Value: 53% MF: 0.00025 Terms: 39 months

I'm getting $493.44 pre-tax with your numbers, so I'm guessing your tax rate is around 6%.
Could be three issues:
1. The dealer is balking on the cap cost price 2. They are inflating the MF 3. They are adding fees to the cap cost price
@privax It would be easier to assess, if they gave you the selling price or CAP cost. Or, confirmed the money factor (base is .00012). The residual is 56%.
To get close to the $368/mo., I need a CAP cost of $38,600, if the payment is pre-tax. With the $3000 rebate (taxable, unfortunately), that implies a price of $41,600, which isn't much of a discount. If that payment includes tax, then of course, the price is lower and possible a better deal.
The other thing I'll point out is the $599 fee in addition to the acquisition fee. Seems like some padding there, but of course, I don't know where you live, or if this deal includes tax and/or title/registration.

Yes.
Um...no. You can do one deposit to reduce the MF to 0.00002, not 9 deposits to bring it to 0.00003.
Explain. To me it looks like: each MSD reduces MF by .0001 (9x.0001=.0009) MF = .0012 New MF = .0003 (.0012 - .0009)

No... the MF isn't .0012, it's .00012.
You can only do 1 MSD, which would drop the money factor to .00002
In other words, the money factor is pretty close to ZERO, already.. The finance portion of the lease is already under $10/mo.
First time poster. Really appreciate all the helpful comments and info. This is my first lease. I live in GA, zip code is 30022. I thought I wanted a Q50 RWD Premium with Nav, but the local dealers aren't quoting me anywhere near the prices that I've seen here. Is it the taxes In GA? I switched my car preference due to high cost to a Q50 Base RWD with moonroof, 39mos/12k.
My best deal still isn't very good compared to what I've seen others receive. Here are the details (didn't give me the sheet so numbers might be off):
Monthly payment: $354 (without tax), $417.34 with tax Out the door: $532 (includes first month payment)
This just seems high to me, Thoughts? Is it worth it to do a MSD? I am supposedly getting VPP pricing. I thought my payment would be in the low 300s. Please advise.

What hurts the most is you live in GA, and pay sales tax on the full value of the car.. Also, a $599 doc fee is ridiculous, but not unusual for GA/FL..
Since the money factor is already low, you can only do 2 MSDs, but it would be worth it.. It would save $12/mo..
It's not a bad lease.. you can't do anything about the tax. You could try shopping around, and see if a competitor will waive their doc fee on a VPP deal.

Thanks for your insights. Are the residual (58%) and MF (.00025) correct for a 2015 Q 50 RWD Base with 39/36 mos and 12k miles? The salesperson said that 39 months is the "sweet spot" for Infiniti leases, and I'm fine with the extra months, but I wanted to be sure because I know the longer term reduces residual value. How much lower to do you think I could find per month? Is it just not worth it to lease in Georgia?
Not that it matters much with that low payment, but what is the $1099 for other?
I had the same question when I saw it. It's the $700 acquisition fee and $399 doc fee. I confirmed with another dealer in the area that they are capped at $399.

Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is - and get them to explain how they got that number from the sell price.

BTW, I'm in NY. Unfortunately, they don't have Black on Graphite, but I have the choice of Graphite or Malbec on Graphite. Not sure which to go with if I do decide to take the deal.
Thank you.

So this is what I got. Trying to get a Q50 Hybrid fully loaded... well here are the details.
2015 Q50 Hybrid prem 2wd (With tech pack, nav pack, illuminated kick, and window tint) (Texas)
MSRP 53,050
Sales Price 48,759
39 months 15k miles
At signing first month and fees (1,000 aprox)
Monthly 608.97
Residual used 55%
MF 0.001
Trying to get this to $550 or below. Got another Infiniti dealer quote me at around $560 but don't have the final details yet. They are telling me that march is the close out month for infiniti Don't know if thats entirely true or just a sales pitch.
What do you think? Was planning on putting down an extra thousand to make it 20 to 30 bucks less a month.
Also, have anyone here received complimentary maintenance for the lease of half the lease. Received an offer from Lexus IS250 with maintenance. But the IS50 doesn't compare to the Q50.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Went to other dealers and got a better offer at another place.
Q50 Hybrid all packages (nav and tech)
15K miles
39 months
$495
MF they are using the one you stated.. 0.00050
MRSP $53,545
Sales price.. don't know it yet..
MSRP: $53520
Base Cap Cost: $47736
Cap Cost Reduction: $1000
Adjusted Cap Cost: $46736
Residual Value: 53%
MF: 0.00025
Terms: 39 months
Monthly Payment: $524.10
Could be three issues:
1. The dealer is balking on the cap cost price
2. They are inflating the MF
3. They are adding fees to the cap cost price

Seems like some padding there, but of course, I don't know where you live, or if this deal includes tax and/or title/registration.

each MSD reduces MF by .0001 (9x.0001=.0009)
MF = .0012
New MF = .0003 (.0012 - .0009)
.00025 MF and 55% residual for 39mo, 12K/yr.
$380/mo.+ tax..
10K/yr adds 1% to the residual and drops the payment to $369/mo.

No... the MF isn't .0012, it's .00012.

Car: 2015 Q50 Base RWD with moonroof
Lease: 39 mo / 12k
MSRP: 39,600
Selling Price: 34,190
TAVT (taxes): 2,484
Doc Fee: 599.00
Title: 18.00
License: 22.00
ETR: 68.00
Misc: 3.0
Total: 37,384
Residual: 58%, 23,020.69
MF: .00025
Monthly payment: $354 (without tax), $417.34 with tax
Out the door: $532 (includes first month payment)
This just seems high to me, Thoughts? Is it worth it to do a MSD? I am supposedly getting VPP pricing. I thought my payment would be in the low 300s. Please advise.
Thanks!

I plan to do 1 MSD tomorrow.
