Thanks you very much for your response Michael. I am already getting 7k off MSRP due to incentives. You probably see or hear about lot of deals and payments other are paying for this car and model.Does this payment and the deal I am getting seem like a good deal?
Read back through the last few pages of this discussion to see what others are getting.
Would you mind telling me what is the current money factor and residual on a Q50 AWD Premium with nav, leather, and deluxe touring packages for 36/12 vs 36/15, the zip code is 10603?

It's not a good idea to negotiate the payment; it gives the dealer wiggle room to mess with the numbers (usually not in your favor). Negotiate the best selling price and ensure they are using the base MF in your payment calculations.
I guess my perspective is that if I'm spending $46K on a car, it better be exactly the way I want it - no more, no less.
Based on the calculations they are using .00012 as the MF. So far I've been negotiating both the selling and monthly. Each time they quote me a number i ask what the selling price is now and they are matching up. Minus the tax which I've told them that they have to pay from the beginning.
And my perspective is the same, which is why I didn't agree to the deal. I told them I'd think about if I want them to order the car, just so can call a few other dealership and see if they have the exact one I want for a better price
Do yoy see anything off with their numbers so far??? Thanks so much for your input, advice and help so far. I'll will keep updating.
For illustrative purposes, below are the calculations to show they are on par with the numbers.

As long as the base MF is being used to calculate the payment, you should be fine. Keep working to get the best selling price and watch out for any hidden fees that could be slipped in to the net cap cost.
Quick question: if I understand MSD's correctly you can do a max of 9, each of which reduces your MF by .0001 - if the base MF is .00012 then the MSD MF would be .00003 - is that correct? Thx

Guys - I know this thread is for 2015 but the 2014 thread is long dead. Hope you don't mind the highjack. - I am curious about this deal which I am thinking of pursuing.
Dealer is quoting $391. I am pretty sure this car was a demo with almost 200 miles on it. I just got my VPP code so that should drop the MSRP to ~38000 (invoice) I will negotiate for 3250 in Loyalty cash and higer Dealer discount - this being a 2014 & demo
Before I use any MSDs - do you guys think a $320 (inclduing tax) is realistic?? I have tried to compute the payment amount but need to confirm the invoice price and max discount about.
With each MSDs, how much of a drop in monthly payment can I expect? I know it reduces the MF by .0001 but how does that translate into reduced monthly payments?

What lease term and how many miles per year? And yes, we'd need to know the net cap cost in order to model a payment.
@Michaell thank you for the numbers. A general question, we have a G37X coming up on it lease and have been looking across the various brands and it looks like infiniti is very aggressive on the money factor, i.e. lease payments for equally priced vehicles. Is that a fair assessment or am I missing something? Looks like a Q50 AWD Premium with a few options can be leased for under $400 and where lexus, audi, acura, etc. can't come close?

Yep, that sounds about right.
I can second that, because I went to Acura to see what they could do on a TLX AWD w/Nav and they couldn't even MATCH the $390 that Infiniti was offering. Unless of course I put a lot down.
The Manager at Acura tried to tell me they were offering me the "old body style" (G series) Infiniti, because he couldn't believe the price quote. I proceeded to school him that the Q50 did not come in the old G body style at all. He then said they must be giving a 2014 with miles on it. I kindly thanked him for his time and went back to Infiniti to haggle a lil more lol.
With $0 down they are asking for $437 - 447 for 10k- 39months. Where can we squeeze the price down to lower monthly installments? Also residuals (%) and MF for 2014 Prem+Nav would be much appreciated.

FWIW, the Q40 is the old G37 with a new label. The Q50 is a new car, top to bottom.

AWD or RWD?
The doc fee is high ... you might try negotiating a lower selling price to offset that. I wouldn't pay for nitrogen in my tires, either.
But, you're already getting $8K off sticker (20%).
Hey guys, currently have a g37 lease. Was wondering if anyone knows what the current incentives are on the 2015 and 2014 models. Also does anyone have the lease numbers for 2014 with 15k miles and 36 or 39 months? thanks

2014: .00041 MF and 54% residual for 39mo, 15K/yr, for either model
36mo, 15K/yr has the same numbers, so 39 months is the way to go..
Thanks for the tips folks. I agree, charging for Nitro seems a little silly.
I am thinking of putting down MSDs to lower the monthly payment but trying to figure out the math behind it. Could you or anyone please correct my calcs below if these are off?

Similarly 2 MSDs would result in a reduction of 8.20 * 2 = 16.4 less per month.
Does this make sense? I read that each MSD reduces the MF by .00001 but is this an accurate calc as well?
The MSD is the monthly payment rounded up to the next $50, so $350 in your case.
Yes, I believe each MSD reduces the MF by .00001
Thanks for confirming. Would you agree with the calc above - where we did not use the reduced MF to determine the lower payments? Maybe my formula is totally off since I did not use the MF approach and just spread the MSD across the lease term to determine the lower payment.

What were the MSRP and selling prices again?
With MSD, you simply recalculate using the same MSRP and net cap cost, just with the lower MF.

Each security deposit reduces the MF by 0.0001. For example, if the MF is 0.00025, then can pay two SD's to reduce the MF to 0.00005. Also, $70 tax on $320 base payment seems wrong. That's almost 22% tax rate.

I believe that the acquisition fee is applied to every lease. However, there may be loyalty incentives that could offset that amount due.

You pay an acquisition fee on every lease. However, if you lease another Infiniti, they will waive the disposition fee on your current lease.

I am thinking of putting down MSDs to lower the monthly payment but trying to figure out the math behind it. Could you or anyone please correct my calcs below if these are off?
Per negotiated amount, monthly payment = 320+70 (tax)
1 MSD Amount = 320 (not incld taxes per month)
Lease = 39 months
Estimated reduction per month = 320/39 = $8.20
Revised monthly payment = 311.8 +70
Similarly 2 MSDs would result in a reduction of 8.20 * 2 = 16.4 less per month.
Does this make sense? I read that each MSD reduces the MF by .00001 but is this an accurate calc as well?
