Looks like a typo on your money factor. They only go 5 digits after the decimal point.
The base MF is .00055

Using lease price as the CAP cost, I get $447/mo.+tax
Adding $700 acq.fee, brings it up to $465/mo.+tax

Ask them for the CAP cost and find out why it's different from the lease price.

Please help, not very educated when it comes to leases. Here are the following terms that I was quoted today:

2015 Infiniti QX60, All wheel drive, Premium Package, Premium Plus package, roof rails and crossbars, bumper protector and illuminated kick plates. Sales tax for Ohio is 7%.

39 month lease, 15,000 miles per month. See they are giving me $2000 below invoice and 2 certs. Do not know the money factor. Was told residual is 55%

They are also giving me a check back for my last payment on my current car for $250.

Down payment will be $530.42
38 monthly payments after that of $530.42
No other money due at lease signing.
This includes my new license plates as well.

They gave me a capitalized cost of $44,914
Doc fee of $250
Tax of $1351.46
Bank Fee of $700
License fees of $80
Total Cap = $47,295.46
Net cap = same as total cap
Residual (55%) = $28,228.75
Total Depreciation = $19,066.71

The calculations are exact.

My reverse engineering says the MSRP is $51,325, right?

That's about $6400 off MSRP. We don't track prices, but if you are happy with that discount, then the rest of it is spot on, with no padding. Well, $250 for the doc fee, but every dealer in the state charges that maximum amount allowed.

You could up 5 refundable multiple security deposits of $550 each, which would lower the money factor to .00005, and that would drop the payment to $490/mo.

Got a quote from Boston deal for QX60AWD with Premium, Premium Plus and Driver Assist Package..somehow dealer says MSRP is 52995.. but based on infiniti website it comes to $51645.something is off there will find out. but here is the deal.

Dealer is saying based 52,995 MSRP, net cap will be $46,920.

MF 0.00055
Residual 0.58

Monthly payment including tax will be 487/month.

myriad of fee 1200+ at the time of signing lease.. so will pay 1764 to drive off + 39 months monthly payments.

is this a good deal ?

understand the significance of Cap Cost reduction and selling price.... and i believe it should be around 51K maybe little less. - i dont have the exact number. downpayment included one month + tax or title or registration or dealer fees...regardless anything over is already rolled into the monthly payment.

considering the overall cost to lease the vehicle including downpayment @ around $22,500 - and from reading many other quotes here for the same vehicle this seems to be a very descent deal - dont you think so ?

I live in NY and I'm looking to lease a pretty loaded 2015 QX60. For some reason, NY doesn't offer MSDs; however NJ does. I reached out to the dealership in Englewood to find out more information about them and was told they can't offer MSDs to a NY state resident. Is this correct? Even if I get the car in NJ?

NY collects sales tax on the sum of the payments of a lease, up front. Can either add it to the cap cost or pay it at lease inception

If the pre-tax payment is $522, then the total tax is about $1669, or $43/mo.

$565/total, so still less than your dealer quote.

Could be marking up the MF, could be adding in extra fees to the deal.

I had been under the impression that it was the location of the dealer that determined whether MSDs could be used, not the address of the lessor.

Try different dealerships in NJ and CT and see if you get a consistent story.

I said all I need is a QX 60 with Navi and no other options. Was told I need to get Premium; Premium Plus and that's it.

Payment $525 includes tax and everything else rolled in.

Out of pocket = $620.02 for 1st month and fees.

I got really screwed when I leased by Honda CRV where they actually sold me the car $2500 over the MSRP price which I wasn't sure about until later on the lease documents.

So I am a bit skeptical. Is this a good deal? Is there anything else that I can do to get a better deal?
