With your MSRP and Final Price, I get a payment of $580.45/mo before tax.

Up front costs will include the bank fee ($795), first payment, dealer fee and any state license or tag costs.

FYI..2016 X3 residuals have been bumped up to 58% for 36/10K, 57% for 12K. Not sure if limited to california but was told this might be temporary to stimulate sales. Depending on July sales they might keep, reduce or increase incentives on Aug 1st.

Good to know! I've seen BMW bump the residuals for a month to help sales, but we won't see anything official until the new numbers are released next week.

All X3's have the same numbers - .00130 and 55% for 36/15. Add 2% for 12K and 3% for 10K.

We don't track prices, but I've heard that 5-7% off sticker is a decent discount. Not sure that applies to the 2016's just yet, however.

Base MF is .00130 and you should look for a discount that is about double what they are giving you...

I get $585/mo.+tax using the sale price as the CAP cost.

The selling price is $44,500. I am okay to put some down (tax, etc.) in order to make the monthly payment low (preferably under $500). It's in Texas. Thanks!

We would need to know the MSRP in order to figure a payment.

Lease numbers are .00130 and 64% (24/10) or 58% (36/10)

Using max MSD to bring the MF down to .00081 only reduces the 36 month payment to $537/mo + tax.

We do not recommend putting money down on a lease to lower the payment; if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

MF is marked up .. base MF for October is .00134.

What is the $1000 going to? It's not enough to cover the up front costs of the lease (bank fee, dealer fee, first months payment).

I have a $1000 voucher from BMW toward the purchase/lease of a new car. Should I really expect the dealer to pass through the MF w/o any markup? Nice to see the residual climb in Oct.

If you have top tier credit, you should get the base MF from the dealer.

MF went up, too, in October .. will offset some of that residual markup.

I'm speaking with two different dealers in Westchester County, NY who are both insisting that the Residual is only 57%, not 60% for a 2016 xdrive28i, 36/12. I'm more than inclined to believe you guys. ANy explanation as to what might be up?

Here's what I think I'm gonna go with...

$43,000 selling price (is this the same as net cap cost?), residual of 57%, MF of .00134, 36 months, 12k miles; it would be $540.11/month with $3,364 due at signing (first month, taxes, acquisition fee, etc.) plus dmv.

Seem legit?

Assuming a tax rate of 6.25%, I get a payment of $587/mo with those numbers.

I would ask the dealer what the net cap cost is - if it's higher than the selling price, ask them to explain what's been added.
