Looking to lease a base Audi Q5. MSRP $42525.

Willing to pay $500 per month.

36/12k

Is this remotely possible with 0 down/up front?
All taxes, fees, etc would be rolled up into the monthly of $500.

New to leasing and just want to know if I am way off.

.00160 and 56% for 36/15. Extra miles can be purchased for $.15/mile, which is deducted from the residual ($1350 total = 9,000 miles x .15/mile).

 Just got an email from the first dealership I talked to. They are offering now the following after me walking away from their first offer: MSRP $63,190, purchase price 57,040 and adjusted capital costs 57,843.57 - monthly payment $779 with $0 down.

Also they came finally down to .00138 it will be a 36/12k lease.


 I think that I will push for $759 and have them throw in some tints and floor mats and we are good to go.

Q: just looking at new lease, what are the MF/residual for such config? Not sure if it's with AudiCare or not (waiting to confirm).

At those numbers, I get $587/mo. +tax.

Looks like trading in that lease early is adding a large amount to your deal.
$3367 upfront should be enough to cover tax, acq.fee, 1st payment and state fees... Looks like another $6000 in your deal, on top of all that.

Thought I'd share with the board the deal a friend of mine got today on a 2016 Audi Q5 2.0T w/ Quattro - Premium Plus with Technology Package & 19" Wheels:

$565 per month including 8.875% NYC Sales Tax
39 months - 7500 miles per year
Sticker price was just about $50K
Selling Price was $44,500 then she got a $500 rebate

@Michaell - it is a good friend of my wife's.  She had an expiring lease on a Tiguan.  She texted me a few weeks ago and told me she was interested in a Q3.  I told her to go and test drive it and let me know a Week before she is ready.  She calls me from the dealership & asks me:  "is $575 per month a good deal?"  I told her I don't know this stuff off the top of my head.  I'm driving home from work (after I just found out somebody whacked into the Legacy) and I'll look it up when I get home.  I told her to tell the guy you'll call him back.  

So I stop at a Dunkin Donuts, grab some coffee (ok and a doughnut too), and jump on the forums here.  Money factor checks out.  Residual is set by the bank.  Looks like it is an invoice or slightly below invoice deal.  "Congratulations Ana!  You now own an Audi!"

Q5 3.0T - I confirm the 58% residual and .00160 MF. With your numbers (and assuming 9% sales tax) I get a payment of $640/mo

Q5 2.0T - The .00126 is the MF for lease terms up to 36 months; anything longer and the MF is .00146. Could be a typo on the dealer docs. Using your numbers, I get $615/mo with sales tax included.

The only two variables in a lease are the MF (but you are getting the base rate, so nothing to negotiate) and the selling price.

Doc fee is capped at $80 in CA (I paid $500 on my last car here in CO). Gap insurance is already included.
