Instead of chasing the best deal, perhaps you should drive some of the cars you've inquired about and narrow the field.

Also, it's rare to find a 24 month lease deal that is cost effective. Better to focus on 36 months, unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Picked up a 2016 2.0 P + with tech last night. This is the deal I got (i think it was a decent deal)
MSRP: $48585
Negotiated price: $43850
36/10K
Upfront: $1499 (First month, DMV, Reg, Dealer)
Monthly with tax included: $490

Did not use M.F or residual but i told them that i wanted to stay under $500 per month.
Also, dealer told me that March 2016 was the last order of 2016 Q5. All new dealer orders now will be 2017 models.

No incentive information.

Considering the high taxes on a lease in Texas, that looks like a decent deal. Would need the adjusted CAP cost to check it.

1. How many MSDs can we put up max? I heard it was 6 or 7. would like to confirm?
2. By how much is the MF reduced for each MSD? again I heard its 0.00005 but want to confirm.
3. Let's say, on Audi Q5, the current MF is 0.0003, does that mean that by putting up 6 MSDs, we can bring down the MF to 0? Is this even a valid scenario? how about putting up 7 MSDs then? does it lead to negative MF?

1. I believe Audi allows up to 9 MSDs
2. Each MSD reduces the MF by .00005, as noted
3. The minimum MF allowed by Audi for a lease is .00005; if the base MF is .00030, you can only have 5 MSDs to bring the MF down to .00005 (5 MSDs * .00005 = .00025)

thanks for details on MSD. one other question about the benchmarks on a well negotiated deal....you mentioned earlier 5-6% below MSRP is good deal. I can use the Employee purchase plan which is about 7% discount on MSRP. can this be combined with other discounts achieved thru negotiations?

Generally, any sort of employee purchase plan uses a fixed price; you can either use it, or negotiate on your own and see if you can get a better deal.

Does Audi do 24 month leases? I'm on my 2nd Q5 with a lease due this month and although I like the car, I would prefer to not be "stuck" with the old model for 2+ years after the 2017 comes out. If so, what would the 24/15 or 27/15 numbers be? Thanks!

What engine and trim level?

Audi offers both 24 and 30 month lease terms.

I'm not exactly sure what the MSRP is. Does it really matter? On my current lease my actual gross cap cost is more than MSRP but it includes EVERYTHING (taxes, fees, tags, etc.) and I have a pretty good deal.

I get $407/mo with those prices, so pretty close to the dealer quote.

I'd get the full breakdown of the $2694 due at signing.

If you've got it on paper and the dealer is willing to honor it, it's a great deal. Not seen that large of a discount from sticker on the Q5.
