    Is it a good/smart idea to get a 48 month lease if you plan on buying the car after the lease term is up ?

    Usually not. If your intention is to keep the car a long time, better to just purchase from the outset.

    It certainly looks that way .. we can account for all but $750 .. ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is, and how they got to that number from the discounted selling price. That will reveal everything.

    This is what I received when I asked about the quoted numbers: 

    I spoke with the Sale Manager about the payment he was using. He had the money factor​ marked up .50 because we don't have a credit application. Payment was on the conservative side. Assuming you have good credit, residual at 10k miles will be 69% and money factor .00175. Payment drops to $424/month with only 1st payment at signing. It's $434/month for 12k mile lease.

    Sale price -$34,243
    Gross cap cost - $36,698.44

    Is this a good deal?

    I get the same payment.

    The taxes in Texas really jack up the lease payment.

    Do you have the MF and residual for a 36month/10k WRX STI Limited with lip spoiler? Also, do the MF or residual change depending on the options added? And lastly, any idea which credit bureau (and what score) Subaru checks to qualify for the best MF?

    65% and .00170. No change based on options, only lease term and miles per year.

    No idea which bureau Subaru uses; any score over 700 qualifies for the best rate.

    There are no 2016 numbers.
