2016 BMW X5 M MSRP 102695 Selling Price 94580 which incl. acq/bank fee. MF .00137 Residual 60% 0 Down 36/10K
I'm getting $1229.88/month with NYS 8.875% taxes rolled in.
Edit: I'm also seeing a $2000 lease bonus cash on Edmunds.com. I should ask if that was already included, correct?
I get $1129/mo.+tax, so pretty close.
There is $2000 lease bonus cash on X5s. Don't know for sure if it includes the M model, but it probably does. I can guarantee you that the dealer isn't quoting a price, then later saying, "Oh yeah, and you get $2000 more off". I guess it could happen, but doesn't seem likely. Probably included in that offer.

I'm looking at the sDrive35i, and trying to figure out where my lease payment may come out on 36/10k program in southern California. My build is $61,445, and I'm hoping that I can get a 10% discount on MSRP (that may be aggressive) down to $55,300.50. I'm also using a $925 acq. fee and 60% residual with 0.137% MF. Haven't spoken with a dealer about this yet, but want to be prepared before I do.
My questions: - Are these the correct acq. fee, residual and MF? - Does anyone have any intel on what MSRP discounts are standard right now in SoCal? 10% is probably a loft goal. - I show my payment at these numbers as $770 all in, does that sound right?

I confirm the .00137 MF and 60% for 36/10 (MF is expressed as a decimal, not a percentage, BTW)
For BMW, anything above 7% off sticker is a great deal.
Using your MSRP and selling price, I get $638/mo before tax. Not sure how you came up with $770/mo.

Thanks for the info on MSRP discount and MF. Not sure where my calculation is veering off, it may be built w/ "zero" drive off or only first month's payment due at signing. Does yours take into account any down payment or additional cash at signing?

I just used the prices you gave me. Don't know what they include or exclude. But, if that's a selling price, then I would assume that all taxes and fees are paid at signing.

Will try to look for NJ/CT dealers. Not much inventory for 2016s, and most are fully loaded which I don't really need on a lease. The current deal i posted above is about 8% off. You think I'm able to push for a little more?
Assuming Tier 1 credit, MSRP of $58,370, what should I expect to pay on a 36mo/12kmi lease with $1000 down? I know there is a lease credit going on.. and the dealer should apply additional discounts.. but at least i know where to start Thanks for all your help

6% off MSRP, minus $2000 lease credit + $925 acq.fee = $53,800 CAP cost.

Hi, how does this look for a 36/10 2016 X5 35 x drive? MSRP 75300 selling 69500 1st pay of 11000 to include: MSD 4900 Taxes/fees 4760 cap cost reduction 641 Monthly of 699

How do you get $4760 of taxes and fees? Tax should be under $2000, acquisition fee is $925. Seems like a lot of padding in there.
Closed the deal on my X5 last night and picked up the car. Very happy with with. X-Line with ACC, Cold weather and light interior.
Thanks for all the help on this forum over the last few months- I got what I think is a great deal. This forum really educated me on MSD's, lease rates, etc.
Loving the car - here's my deal. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer.

Congrats on the deal Tom,
Im trying to help my friend lease an X5 as well. Can you clarify a few things: 1. what was the negotiated selling price? 2. did you put a down payment? 3. standard mf is 0.000137 and can be decreased to 0.00088 with 7 MSDs. how did you get money factor down to 0.00068? 4. in what cases will BMW not return the entire MSD?
this looks like a 10k lease with the 60 percent residual. It is only 1 percent hit to get 12k/year at 59 percent.
Kyfdx just helped me get great deal on 2016 x5d. smart to get 2016 though. THey are dropping brakes discs and brake pads and wipers for maintenance. Also dropping warranty to 3 year 36. Residuals are 3 percent better on 2016 too

Residuals are better on all the 2016 BMWs, as they want to move the existing inventory.

Did you pay down payment? What is "customer cash down = $6304" listed in item #9?
And how did you go from #8 initial cap cost ($66855) to #19 adjusted cap cost ($61050)?
Down payment was $6304. This is comprised of: - $4200 - 7 MSD's which get returned at lease end - $230 - additional cap cost reduction (see below) - $599.22 - First month payment - $1274 - DMV, fees and taxes (on cap reduction)
$66855 + $925 Acquisition fee = $67780.
$67780 - $6500 rebates (Listed above) = $61280
$61280 - $230 = $6150.
I added the $230 to the drive off to get my payments under $600, which then lowered my 7 MSD's from 4550 (7 x $650) to $4200 (7 x $600).

So MSDs count towards CAP reduction just like a regular down payment?

"Customer Cash Down" is a misnomer. It's just cash due from customer. It is not the same as a CAP cost reduction. MSDs do not reduce the CAP cost.

Do any of these look padded?
Overall how does the lease look?
Thanks!
No idea what the "supply fee" or "pillar prep" is - those look to be padded
Do you have a breakdown on the government fees? Is this tags and title?
Doc fee is high, but typical for NJ.
