They can't adjust the residual - it's set by the bank.

Thats what I thought.. but he said there's a 10% difference between the 2016 and 2017 models... that the residual is 45% and all the numbers he should me were with that number through BMWFS

There's a 2016 x50i they have left on the lot. MSRP is 85920 and they have it at 71,995. He's telling me that with 6k down it'll be $1007/MO for 36/15. I have no idea where they are getting those numbers.

Yikes - we always suggest limiting the up front cash to just the first payment and non-taxable government fees (DMV, etc.)

My calculations are based on the assumption that the car has not yet been titled.

If it has been, then you are looking at a CPO lease, with very different numbers. Which we don't have.
