What is the November residual and MF for a 2016 X5 40e (36 mos/ 10 or 12k miles/year). If it is a loaner, is the residual decreased by the mileage currently on the vehicle? (In the case here, about 4k miles). And I trust all other incentives should work and hold (i.e 2000 option allowance and $3500 lease credit). And all corporate programs and reduced MFs should work I'm being told that the corporate MF program doesn't apply---but I'm thinking this isn't right.
Corporate fleet discount doesn't apply to retired service loaners or demo vehicles. If you read the fine print of the flyer for corporate fleet program - it says there in the exclusions. It is not a dealer thing, it is part of excluded vehicles listed by BMW FS.
I recently got a loaner 2016 X5 with 7800 miles on it, I was also surprised when the dealer said that Corporate discount doesn't apply to this vehicle. but when i checked carefully, yes - even my company page says the same thing.
Don't trust your sales guy on this if he is saying that it can be applied to your car. It CAN'T. The finance manager will take if off when you get to him. On a 2016 X5, corporate incentives are $1000 plus .00020 mf reduction, That is about $50/mo reduction in payment.
INELIGIBLE BMW / MINI VEHICLES: Any additional BMW / MINI models not indicated in this summary, which will be launched during the calendar year 2016, up until further notice from BMW Group Fleet. BMW / MINI Company Vehicles, Extended Test Drive, Shuttle or Limo, and Retired Service Loaner Vehicles are not eligible. The Fleet incentive cannot be used in conjunction with the BMW Ultimate Drive Event (Level 1 only), BMW Car Club, BMW College Program, BMW Group Partner & Family Program, BMW CCA program, European Delivery, Diplomatic, USAA and / or Military Sales program, BMW Limousine & Hotel Shuttle Program, and the BMW VIP Purchase Program, which all are not eligible. Pre-Owned BMW / MINI vehicles are not eligible.

$699 a month.
Good deal or...? Thank you for your help!
What is the total amount due at signing? Selling price and/or CAP cost?
I just received the following quote for a 2016 X5 lease. MSRP $74,220. Cap cost $68,000 includes $2000 option allowance. 12K/36 months with $600 out of pocket to start plus they would apply $1000 loyalty and $1000 USAA rebates to oop. Monthly payment $998 in Scottsdale, AZ.
Seems like a high payment to me, and th discount doesn't appear to be that great for a 2016.

.00134 and 56%
With your MSRP and Cap cost, I get $881/mo before tax.
Pretty high payment; not enough of a discount from sticker, if you ask me. Target should be 7% off sticker, before any incentives.
I see mention here for $3500 lease credit and $2000 option allowance but don't see any other reference supporting this. Should I expect or try to get another 5500 reduction from MSRP in this instance.
Can you kindly give me the MF and residual for 36/10 lease terms.

.00134 MF and 57% residual.
$2000 option allowance on all X5s. The $3500 lease credit is only on the X5 40e.

Ouch! My X5 40e MSRP'd at $73K and I'm paying $600 incl. 9% tax. Go back a few pages to find my details.

You got an awesome deal. I don't have quite the rebates as the 40e, but I agree I should be able to do better.
Here are some additional detail on how they are structuring this deal (sorry, initially omitted):
Total Rebates: $1,000 Security Deposit (MSDs): $6,300 Advanced Payment (1st month payment): $858.04 Upfront Charges: $2,060.48 Total Cap Reduction: $4,000 Residual Amount: $42,265.80
Due on Delivery: $12,218.52 (this is Total Cash and Rebates $13,218.52 - $1,000).
Does this look accurate? Is the dealer hiding costs somewhere here?
Thanks, Carlo
So, $3000 CAP reduction + $2060 upfront + $6300 MSDs? Plus the 1st payment due at signing? Shewwww..
Also, there is a $2000 incentive this month, not $1000.
But, given their numbers ($67000 cap), I get $780/mo.+tax, so the calculations look pretty close. I'd roll the $3000 plus the $925 acquisition fee into the CAP cost. This will raise your payment by $125/mo, and add $700 to your MSDs, but it will reduce your other charges by $4300 or so.
Tell me about it...$99, for goodness sakes. Lol. Noted on the roll in $3k + acquisition fee.
Last question -- from a discount stand point at this point in Dec for a 2016 MY vehicle, is 9% below MSRP what you would consider a good deal?
Thanks!
We've always felt that anything over 7% on a BMW is pretty good. But, suggest you read back through the last page or two of posts on this forum to see what others have been able to negotiate.
I am looking to lease a 2016 BMW and noticed your comment:
"2. Use MSD to buy down the MF .. more money up front, but you'll get the MSD monies back at the end of the lease"
Can you expand upon that? I understand the concept of using MSD to reduce the MF, but how would a buyer get it back at the end of the lease? Thanks!
You are 'loaning' the MSD monies to BMWFS for the term of the lease, in return you get the lower MF. At the end of the lease, that money is returned to you - or, you can roll it over to use as MSD for your next BMW lease.

Very cool -- I did not know that. Thank you Michaell!
I'm looking at a couple of X5 sdrive35i's at my local dealership. Can anyone give me a rundown of the incentives and rebates currently available for the 2017 model (current BMW owner / USAA member / AAA member)? Also the current MF and residual for a 3 year / 10k lease?
When I look at the Edmunds "true market value" for this vehicle it shows the average negotiated sales price at roughly $1,000 below invoice in my area (San Diego, CA). Does this include incentives and rebates?
Any extra published incentives for remaining 2016 models (or this just whatever the dealer is willing to do)? MF and residual for the 2016 model? Same as 2017? My local dealer has nine 2016 X5 models available, unfortunately none are the exact color / options that I want....but if I can strike a good enough deal I think I could be swayed.

.00134 MF and 57% residual for 36/10. $2000 option allowance.
The 2017 residuals are 1% higher, but they don't come with the $2000.
Based on the numbers above what would be the monthly payment? Also can I pay tax in full and only pay the depreciation in installment? Thank you!
Using your numbers, I get $513/mo.
Yes, you can choose to pay the taxes and fees up front, though we don't recommend it. What happens if the lease terminates early? You think the state of Texas will refund you the sales tax you didn't use?
Only things you should pay up front:
1. first payment 2. non taxable government fees 3. MSD monies

Thank you so much, Michaell. Does the $513/month include tax already? And do you know if the $5500 BMW incentive is taxable or non-taxable? Thank you!

I simply used the numbers you provided. I'm guessing neither tax or fees are included. Figure $28/mo for every $1000 added to the price.

I have received the following offer from a dealer for a 2016 X5 xDrive35i:
MSRP: $78,270
Sale Price: $71,000
Down: $3,000
MF: .000850 (I am buying down rate w/7 MSDs)
Residual: 54%
Lease Terms: 3 years, 15k miles/year
Monthly Payment (including tax): $858.04
Should I be looking for a larger discount off MSRP? 9% seems healthy, however, I would prefer to be at $69,000 sale price with these terms.
Thank you!
When I plug in your numbers, I get $894/mo before tax. Is the entire $3000 going to cap reduction?
Ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is - that will help us figure out the deal.
