Hi! I am looking for a 2016 Honda Odyssey LX for my family. What is the going price currently? Is $25k plus ttl reasonable?

    What is your zip code?

Hi Nathan, we now have an offer for 24K plus ttl. IT is a two hour drive. They said they need a deposit before providing an email quote but if they don't honor price deposit will be refunded. does this sound normal?

Do you know how I can learn how to handle the registration and out of state taxes?

As long as it is fully refundable (get it in writing), I don't see an issue with it as long as it truly holds the vehicle for you too.

As for taxes, they should be charging you tax by the address you're registering the car to. So, it should be your sales tax rate for you home. Most dealerships will process the registration for your state. I would confirm this with the dealership to make sure they will process all the paperwork for you.

Is that Out the Door (w/ taxes and fees) or just the sales price?

TMV does not include taxes or fees.

Either way, it is a good deal. There is a $1,650 dealer cash rebate and when you factor in holdback that would be around $31,500. I think you're good to go!

Hi Nathan, the 24K did not work out. Our best offer is $25,300 plus ~$200 document fee. Plus TTL. This is zip 37011. Is this a good deal for a 2016 Odyssey LX?

Yes, that is a good deal. There is $1,400 Dealer cash available for the LX. Average price sold in your region for the '16 LX is $26,104. If you factor in more dealer cash, $25,300 would be good!

@NathanCrumback Hi Nathan, do you know what is good price for a 2016 Odyssey EX? We are offered a price of around $28,500 for a unit with 130 miles on it. We did not buy the LX as we did not like the lack of center console. This is zip 37011.

Hi, I'm looking for a 2016 or 2017 Odyssey EXL. Following are the quotes I got:
2016 Quote 30990 (Before Taxes, Title, etc, which may be additional 2k)
2017 Quote 33,940(Before Taxes, title etc)
I'm in Charlotte, NC, I would appreciate if anyone can let me know the best prices they got in Charlotte area for 2016 or 2017 Odyssey EXL.

Are the above price quotes competitive enough, I'm ok to drive 2-4 hrs(Atlanta, Richmond etc) if I can get a good deal

Based on dealer cost, I believe there is still room to do at least several hundred dollars better on the 2016. Does anyone local still have a 2016 EX-L available?

I'm working on the 2017 price myself. Can you tell me where you obtained the 33,940 quote?

    Thanks.

Looking to buy a 2016 or 2017 EX-L RES in Northern California.

Very few dealers have 2016 in stock, but 2017 are available readily.

What price I should be looking to pay? I got internet quotes of $35k+taxes, fees for 2017 and they seem a bit high.

    Hi,
Im in market for buying new 2016 odyssey EX-L. The lowest quote that i could get from a dealer is $33500 OTD price? Since there aren't much 2016 EXL in market, im thinking to accept this deal.

Is this a good deal now?

Any suggestions please let me know. My zip code is 19462

That is not a good deal. I bought a new 2017 for much less than that. 2016 EX-L should be in 31,500 range plus fees.

Finished buying 2016 EX-L (no nav no RES) yesterday, in the greater DC area. Breakdown:
    Selling price: 30,312
    Processing charge: 300
    Tire recycling fee:4
Tax (MD 6%), title, tag, security of interest:2184
    OTD: 32,800

We got quotes from several dealers by emailing. The second best OTD quote I got was 33,350, but I may have been able to slash a few hundred more had we gone in for a visit. We ended up buying at the same dealer where I bought an Accord 2.5 years ago.

The dealers I came into contact with said the 2016 models are running out, and they are not getting any more of them. The 2017 models are arriving soon, they will be the same as the 2016 model (The new generation debuted in Detroit will be sold as 2018), but discounts may not be given for a while. The color options are limited too, we got the color we want through dealer swap, which put about 40 miles on odometer.

If you do not mind, can you please share the details of the dealership. Thank you.

Trying to set a goal....Lease 2016 LX for $11k total payments OTD.

Just getting started and using the Edmunds lease calculator, looks like the current national ad for Honda has the 2016 LX wth $1999 down and $259 a month on a 36/12 term. After I add in $480 for document and registration as well as sales tax (9.5%) it comes out to total payment of $12145.

My initial thought was to try and achieve a deal at or below $11k total lease payments for a 36/12 term. We have good credit (700+) and would drive up to a 100 miles in Southern California. Color and options are non-factors for us.

What do you think, is this a unicorn or reasonable deal for a patient, excel spreadsheet toting guy to shoot for?

    Thanks in advance.

Quick question, need help deciding between 2016 ODy EX-L, EX or 2017 Crhysler Pacifica. Any recommendation in terms of best value for money. Have been Ody driver in past and loved it for 10 years without any issues.

What is the best price we can reasonably expect to get on a 2016 Odyssey Touring Elite? Will there be better deals had when 2018's hit showrooms?
