I pm'ed that guy also and no response. I just want to share that dealing with car dealer is just hard, at least for me. Everyone wants you to come over to discuss on the spot, and they kinda refuse email, and when I tell them I got a quote and ask them if they can do better they are asking a signed quote in writing. These California dealers are just tough. Anyway, so far this is what I got, maybe people here can use it for reference:

The mf is .00144 (automatic payment reduction) and the residual is 64%. I forgot to mention this includes the maintenance for the lease term. monthly payment including tax, quoted by dealer = 436$ (297 depreciation + 103 interest + 36 tax)
I am confused because, by my calculation, it should be 402$ including taxes (268$ depreciation+101 interest + 33 tax); Interesting that interest is almost the same but the depreciation is different? I don't get what I am doing wrong.
Also I am eligible for a discount of 2000$ (due to my job), that the dealer claims it was included in the above quote but supposedly can't be combined with April Monthly Incentive of 1,500$. In March the incentive was 1,250$. Funny that if I mention the discount it is suddenly "already included".
Other funny business: 0.00152 was the "Autopay discount"; I found here that it should be 0.00142 with Autopay discount.

I'm from Bay Area as well and am working on a lease deal. For leases the discount is one thing but there are other variables resulting in the monthly payment. If you're buying, getting the most from the discount is a good start.

Just leased a c3004wd today and was able to use 10 MSDs and auto pay to bring down the MF to .00074. They had no idea about it had to have them dig a little deeper to get all the info but at the end it can save you 50-60 bucks on payment.
