2016 Mercedes C Class Lease Questions

I thought each security deposit is equal to one monthly payment rounded up to the nearest $50. In the case not sure how $2k translates into that MSD but I get the idea.

Use the 2000 for MSD s and if you have more cash use that to max them out. Your return on that money is more then any hedge fund out there.

You can save your self 60 dollars a month by using autopay and 10 MSDs

acquisition fee is 1095 which i know is 795
with 10 msd for 36 months 12k/year we are getting at 513 and with my adjusted mf i am getting 495 a month
due at signing is 1 mo plus 5500 in msd and 1095 for acquisition and few fees totalling 7400
I am gonna push him to go down to 460 which is another 1000 off in cap cost reduction
Anyone know if any fleet discount codes
was looking at the Audi a4 2017

advice on deal would be appreciated as tomorrow is last day of the month and we will probably pull the trigger
a 58000 car for 460.mo seems decent

So, MSDs + $1900 upfront? And, $460/mo? Yeah, seems good.

One note. PA tax isn't 1.5X, it's an extra 3%. So, if your local rate is 6%, it's 9% on a lease. If it's 7%, it's 10% on a lease.

So rhe dealer would not budge on any of the constraints and we needed the car in two weeks - we could have waited but other dealers were not giving us anything better - i think we hit near rock bottom bc they def are discounting off sticker - its just an expensive car by the sticker - 10 years ago we bought a lexus gs430 for 49k and now this car stickered for 58 k

Will ask him what financing party he's using. After some negotiations, i've got the MF down to 0.00175 with 64% residual.

Politely but firmly tell them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.

Then reach out to other MB dealers - use them against one another.

According to the numbers you gave it all looks good. I would push for MF of .00154 and then I would do 10 msd if you can it would bring your payment to about 445 with only MSDs. 
If you don't want to do MSDs  push for .00144 ( autopay) will save you about 20 bucks.

Ah! I get it now - thank you for the clarification.

.00154 and 64%. Deduct .00010 for AutoPay (.00144). The bump from the dealer is for more profit.

Politely tell them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.

I get $412/mo with your numbers, as is. Before tax. Using the base MF. With $0 at signing.

Does the inceptions amount include sales tax? What state and tax rate is this?

I initially very gently pushed him in the MF and he said that the $7k discount on MSRP is more than offset by the "bump in MF" )) I realize he is making money, but just giving you all the information.

The dealer isn't wrong - they are in the business of making money, so they'll often tell you that.

And, why not use a NY dealer? The doc fee is capped at $75 in NY, whereas in NJ it can run several hundred dollars.

Can't' hurt to reach out to other dealers and get them to negotiate against one another.

I have one dealer in Brooklyn that is not very responsive and I need a car relatively fast. So should I just push for lower MF to drop monthly by $20. This way everyone is makes a little? This dealer also has my color request combo. (Now I just sound like I am trying to convince myself:))

Tough position to be in, for sure.

When shopping in this price range, you want the exact vehicle (color, equipment, etc.). Unfortunately, that limits the dealers who have what you want. And, the dealer knows it.

It can't hurt to try to negotiate the MF.

Going to 39 months will save you about 18 dollars a month. So combined with MSDs and auto pay that's close to 80 bucks a month.
