    Hi All,

    Mind if i get the MF for 36 months 10k and 2k down for CA? my credit is over 750.

    I got an offer for $5k off MSRP any Q7 over $68K, what do you think?

    lastly, for Audis, what is the best, lease term? I usually like a longer lease but not sure if it is a better deal such as residual.

    Which trim?

    If you like longer leases, the 42 month term isn't bad for Audi, compared to 36 months.

    I ran thoee numbers through my calculator and unless I'm doing something wrong, I don't see why a 42 month lease should be considered substantially better than a 36 month lease. On my loaded Q7 36 month is $1235/month while 42 is $1210.

    You said you preferred a longer term lease; we responded by saying the 42 month term isn't bad for Audi. Never suggested it was substantially better. Just not as awful as the longer terms for other brands.

    I was assuming that - since ALL lease-numbers on the Q7 can be considered bad due to the high MF - kyfdx suggested that 42 months would be an exemption when he wrote 'the 42 month term isn't bad for Audi, compared to 36 months'. The word 'compared' caught my attention.

    Personally, I don't prefer longer lease terms.

    I did one lease that was longer than 36 months - never again!

    I prefer 36 month lease terms, myself.

    And yes, Audi lease numbers just aren't as good as competing brands. They don't inflate the residual as does MB or BMW.

    What is the residual mf on 2.0 PP with 36/15? 
    Any ideas if the MF is better from US Bank which lots of Audi dealers in LA seem to use. 

    Also, does Audi allow MSD?

    Audi does have an MSD program, but I don't have the specifics
    We only have AFS numbers

    Hi! Can I get money factor and residuals (with Audi care) on Prestige, 36 and 42 months/ 15,000 miles. 800 credit score. They are quoting .0020 which I believe is high.

    Since it's getting serious now (potentially picking up in a week), I was wondering if anybody knows what FICO scoring-model of the three auto-scores (either 5/4/2, 8 or 9) Audi Financial is using to determine the credit-tier and what the score ranges are for the different tiers. Also, how much of a penalty are you usually charged for tier 2, tier 3 etc. over tier 1 and how is that calculated? Is there a specific number the MF is jacked up between tier 1 and the other tiers? In tier 1, my payment would be about $1,235 and I was wondering by how much this could potentially increase in tier 2 or 3...

    I'm going to pull my credit the day I'm walking into the dealership and would like to have a payment as close to reality as possible. After all, the numbers I have now are for tier 1 but in case I don't qualify for that, I'd like to know what to expect and don't want to be at my dealer's mercy - so to speak.

    We don't know the score AFS uses to determine the MF tier, nor do we have the cutoffs for tiers 1/2/3.

    We can tell you that Tiers 1/2 qualify for the best MF, tier 3 adds .00030, tier 4 .00050 and tier 5 .00065. There are numbers for tiers 6/7/8, but you'll cry we if publish the markups.

    No need for the 6/7/8 numbers - if that's what I'd be facing, Audi would probably be the wrong brand for me altogether - LOL. Interesting though that Tiers 1&2 have the same MF. That really makes you wonder why they even separate those two tiers in the first place...

    If I were to guess, Tier 1 is 720+ and tier 2 is 700-719.*

    *not responsible for bad information - this is just a guess on my part.

    Also, is the 3/12k the best value lease when it comes to numbers?

    The lease deals can't really get worse, no matter which way the residuals/money factors go.. and, yes, they will change substantially by September (that's seven months).

    No point in renting any vehicle that isn't needed, yet.

    Audi publishes residuals for up to 15K; extra miles beyond that are charged up front at .15 per mile.
