Are you paying the sales tax upfront? Or rolling it into the CAP cost?

VA doesn't tax the monthly payment.

Add 5% to the 39 month residual to get the 24 month residual. That will make for a much higher payment.

Is this FWD? If so, .00147 MF and 62% residual.

If the quote = adjusted CAP cost, I get $443/mo.+tax.

Looks like a little CAP cost reduction within that $2500, though.

Can't tell you what the numbers will look like next month - I've seen them get better, and I've seen them get worse. If you're comfortable with the selling price and terms, no reason not to pull the trigger.

It's $446/mo. if the sale price were the adjusted CAP cost.

If your upfront costs that are rolled in are around $1650-$1700, then the numbers agree.

I was told 57% and .00087 for Deluxe AWD 39/15 today in NY.

The math should roughly work out the same as 60% and .00135 (within a few bucks). I like this better than June #s b/c residual/buyout price is lower at end of term.

.00087 MF and 59% are the correct numbers for 39/12.

We don't track selling prices. What payment did they quote, and how much money is due upfront?

Hi, Have been following forum, excited to get the beautiful car, went to my local South Florida dealer and called about a FWD QX60, Prem, Prem + and Driver assistance, with 39mo/15K lease, and I explained that I wanted no cap cost reduction, inceptions (first mo, tax, tag, title), Found car at MSRP 50,900. Was hoping to get monthly (after discounts) to $525-540/mo. Was quoted on Tel $535/mo. Apparently had a miscommunication, my idea of no cap cost reduction differed from the internet sales manager, who quoted $2300 TOOP and 12K lease. I tried to explain difference in interpretation even suggesting I could have misunderstood (but didn't) . . . .. . . Was at $569/mo when I decided I had had enough for the day and said I'd think about it. . . . minutes later I received an angry call from the internet sales manager (who I never was able to see face to face despite asking to) - I explained my price range and desired budget once again . . . . . and was told in quite florid terms, that "on your budget you should consider a Buick not an Infiniti, we also sell Buicks and I can get you a deal on a Buick"---- Needless to say, I'll be finding my deal from another and respectful dealer. Has anyone encountered such a disgraceful sales manager? I think my price range is reasonable given the deals I've seen posted. I also think this kind of treatment reinforces the concept of pain in purchasing a car.
