Hi. I just turned in my lease for the 2017 and wanted to know if I got a decent deal. I dont understand all the different numbers and values that are used to determine monthly fees. I hope to help my grandmother with her lease options and wanted to know if I could get her a better deal than I did. We both live in NY.

.00003 MF and 51% residual for 36/15.
$2000 lease cash.

I'm pretty sure the residual reduction is on a cents/mile basis, but I don't know the number. It's likely $0.10-$0.15 per mile.

Thanks again. Looks like I could not find pricing info for the Sport yet here on Edmunds. I did use TrueCar and got the total off MSRP of $4423 which is 2K from the factory and an additional $2423 from the dealer for a total of $20,707. Should I start my lease negotiations using this as the Adjusted Cap Cost? If so can you calculate a payment? Last question

You are negotiating the selling price - the adjusted cap cost is that price with all the fees and taxes you aren't paying up front.

You only want to make the first payment and DMV costs at signing - roll everything else into the adjusted cap cost.
