Seems like a bit high, right?
What is the MSRP?
We recommend not making a cap reduction; that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.
Hello, are the new numbers for March available yet for Pittsburgh? 36 or 39 month/12k for 2016.5 GT AWD. MF, Residual + any lease cash that may be available. Thanks in advance.
Not sure how true it is, but I had a dealer tell me that an AWD Grand Touring has a money factor of .00001 and a residual of 59% with lease cash of 934. If this is true, looks like incentives are worse than February. Looks like I'll try next month.

.00001 is the lowest MF you'll find, so that is likely to be true. Residual is set by the bank.
Lease cash seems like an odd amount.
It's possible that with the 2017's on the horizon, if inventory is low, Mazda doesn't feel a need to promote lease deals.

yes, that was my thought too. Inventory may be tight enough to warrant the lower cash. Edmunds is also reporting the odd 934 amount too under the "Incentives and Rebates" page. I'm inclined to say he's reporting correct numbers, but can't say for sure without you guys' expert tutelage. Rumor has it from the dealer, the 2017 is going to start hitting the floor next month.

Hi, Looking at a Mazda CX-5 Touring AWD with AT. Can you please let me know MF and RV for 12K/36 month. Do you know if Mazda allows 24 month lease ? if so can you please give me the rate for 12K/24 month as well. The area I am interested is southern California.

Hi. I was offered a sale price of 30,759 on CX-5 AWD GT w/iactive sense and tech, MSRP 33,755. assuming a 36 mo/12 lease, with MF of .00001, RV of 60%, and 934 lease cash, and 6.87% NJ sales tax, I'm getting a total monthly payment of 303/month, drive off fees being first month, DMV, and doc fees. I'd roll in taxes and bank fee and end up parting with a total of about $850 total drive off.
Dealer is getting a 333/month payment. Is my math wrong?

I would compare the adjusted cap cost you are using to the one the dealer is using. That should identify the differences (dealer fee?)

So are you saying that my math is correct, or is there a chance that he is correct? He did it very weirdly. He did he 934 lease cash as a rebate on some of the 'inception fees' as opposed to subtracting it from the sale price to start. Not sure if that affects anything.
Assuming my math was correct, and he'll adjust accordingly, would you say I'd be getting an above average deal?

$3K off seems to be a decent discount from sticker for a CX-5 (well, $2100 plus the lease cash).
I don't know how you or the dealer calculated their payments. If I plug in your numbers into my lease calculator, I get $292/mo - a lot closer to your number than theirs.
Need to know the adjusted cap cost - and how you got to that number from the selling price - in order to comment further.

looks very high, compared to what you provided, are the dealers allowed to markup the MF like this ?

Hi. I just got a quote from a dealer on a 2016.5 Mazda Touring AWD lease. Trying to figure out if it's a good deal. MSRP 27,415, Sale price: 25,663, zero down, $336 monthly payment. 36month/15K miles. Any help is appreciated

With your prices, I get $256/mo before tax.
State and tax rate?
What number is the dealer using for the adjusted cap cost? How did they get to that number from the selling price?
How much is due at signing? $0 down is not the same.

Colorado and I think 8% tax rate. I haven't got the final number due at signing and I'm not sure what the adjusted cap cost is. They said $934 rebate and $1000 from the dealership, but the numbers still don't seem to match up to me and I can't quite figure out why.

Which dealer is this?
Dealers are famous for obscuring the important numbers in a lease deal - you have to be persistent, but polite, with them. If they continue to push back, then it's time to walk. There are enough Mazda dealers out there; it only takes one to meet your numbers.

Groove Mazda. I was planning to call a couple others tonight to see if they would quote me similar numbers or something different. This is my first time trying to lease a car and I want to make sure we get the best deal we can.

Lease cash seems like an odd amount.
It's possible that with the 2017's on the horizon, if inventory is low, Mazda doesn't feel a need to promote lease deals.
