That's just a ridiculous price but am sure some rich folks will drop some coin on it. Just seems ridiculous to me. That's why it's best I go back to "cheap to keep" I think, want to pay a reasonable price for things and have minimal vehicular drama. Sure, I still want a little "fun" but nothing outrageous.

Yes, MSRP was 57, 785. I went through Mall of Georgia. Uber easy to do. He has done over 100 special orders this year on Wranglers alone and not just 4xe’s.

My wife and I are deciding between a 4xe Sahara and 4xe Rubicon. A friend who used to work with me at BMW recommended that I contact the GM of a local Jeep dealer so we will see what happens.

The wife’s ‘13 Jetta doesn’t even tell us that. And it’s been showing a fault that we can’t ID since the battery was changed last year. I drive it one week a month now, and do a walkaround with an old school tire gage before I do. That is most of its mileage since she started WFH last year.

The 2er gives you individual tire pressures. The Clubman and X1 only tell you which tire is low.

One thing I've found. The Speedway gas stations all have air machines that beep when you get to the desired pressure, and most take credit cards. It's super handy.

Although I generally hate TPMS, I do appreciate that Volkswagen's system does not use modules inside the tires that transmit to receivers in the wheel hubs. In this way, these are at least not as inconvenient and expensive when it comes to maintaining multiple sets of wheels.

On all of my other vehicles, I either don't use the TMPS sensors, or I don't replace them when they die. One less nanny looking over my shoulder.

We drove my Rubicon to Chicago. I have never heard so much complaining about ride quality and tire noise in my life. The entire family assured me that we would never do that again.

I ordered a Sahara 4xe for my daughter. I’m probably going to order another Sahara 4xe but I’m not sure if my other daughter wants it or if I will keep it or just flip it.

Wes, by your standards, the temp gauge and fuel gauge is a nanny. Better get rid of them too! Smoke from under the hood and the engine dying from empty tank is all you need!

Me, I like knowing there is a problem before I’m stranded on the side of the road. But YMMV.

I have a hair under 800 miles on mine and I really do love it so far. I really can't believe how much I like it - plenty of power, ultra comfortable seats, looks awesome, audio system isn't bad, and I love the electric range.

I’m aware of the pluses and minuses of both. I’ll be the primary driver so the decision is whether the added off-road capability outweighs the loss of a bit of on-road civility. I can’t imagine that a new Rubicon would be any worse than my Bilstein equipped TJ.

I’ve never driven a TJ much less a TJ with bilsteins so I bet it will be tough to get an answer.

The JL rides much better than the JK. The JL is worlds better than the CJ we had when I was a kid.

If you are going to off road, you won’t want the 4xe with 20 inch wheels. The rubicon has the rubicon 17 inch wheels.

I’ve driven one but it wasn’t much more than the 4 right turns. Always interesting to hear from someone with a few more miles under their belt.

Your comment about the seats is interesting. Most of the online reviews aren't kind to Wrangler seats, but clearly you can't know until you get your own butt in the seat.

It's only a half-mile away.. but, I figure that will be an hour I won't get back.

For a flip? If you invest 10 hours to make the deal, and you profit $5K, that's $500/hour.

General consensus here and on the other boards seems to be that unless you go with one of the dealers mentioned already, your odds of wrangling anything worthwhile are slim...

I believe you mean CCAP is waiving the acquisition fee. Normally $595.

What does 6% under invoice equate to vs MSRP?

I wonder what letting them markup the MF the max would net me? .00042 increase only adds $70 over payments. But, it might earn them an extra $1000

Correct. I was getting lease quotes in the $700 range off the lot including one jack wagon that wanted a 3k ADM.
