I can't believe how bad the residuals are on these Q50s. I can't get anyone below $527 out the door with only first month payment at signing.

2016 3.0 Q50 premium fully loaded with tech, navi, delux pack, leather etc.. He said MSRP is is 53,125. Selling it for 47,625. He gave me a residual of 12K MILES 51% and a MF at .00003. This seems like a not good deal. I am really getting confused reading all info on forums. Oh, to throw in the mix i have a car that valued at 19,000-22,000 that i want to trade in . I only owe 9,666 on it. I want to lease though because of all the benefits of leasing. . Please help me a little . I have done tons of research but i am getting confused with all these leasing terms.I think it might be safer for me to just purchase an 2015 premium fully loaded with 12k for 38,005 otd ?

The MF and residual are correct. At the moment, the new Q50's aren't leasing all that well.

In addition, we don't recommend using trade equity to drop the payment. That money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

May be best to use that equity as a down payment on the 2015. Depends on how long you keep your cars.

Do not use your equity toward the lease. Use it to purchase a vehicle or sell the vehicle yourself and put it on the bank.

Anyone know a good price to pay for an AWD Red Sport vs MSRP? Invoice and average price paid info is scarce right now. Residual is awful but low MF still makes deals slightly better than last months 5% higher residual when you do the math.

Yeah I could have sworn I read somewhere else that the residuals on the regular 3.0ts were in the 55-58% range but then I see they are in the low 50% range. We are coming up on our G37 lease expiration in September. Dealer said they'd eat our last two payments and could get us into a 3.0t premium at like $540 a month. We pay $380 for the G now. And that was our 4th G, and our payment has always been in the 380-420 range because Infiniti always seemed to run decent lease deals.

Now it seems like their lease deals are cruddy on the Qs. We may finally break our run, eat the $399 disposition fee and go to another manufacturer, maybe a Genesis which is running some pretty good lease deals now.

Just out of curiousity, what is the residual and MF on a Q50 AWD 3.0t (regular not red sport) Premium? 10K and 12K miles per year?

i wanna do the leasing route as i would like to have a new car every 3 years and i only drive about 8k per year. The monthly payment is also a good benefit

i wanna do the leasing route as i would like to have a new car every 3 years and i only drive about 8k per year. The monthly payment is also a good benefit

Have the dealer cut you a check for the trade equity.

You can even do it on a lease turn in. When we turned our Grand Cherokee Overland in 2 years ago, there was equity in the car (car was worth more than the buy out price). Went back to the dealer I leased from, told them I was going to buy the car out but if they cut a deal with me, I would lease a new car. Essentially we got a new Durango (needed the 3rd row), nothing came out of my pocket at settlement and a week later I received a check in the mail for the negotiated equity we had agreed upon at settlement.

Now in some cases, the residual of the lease you turn in is higher than the actual market price of the car. In that case, you just walk. But always check the values and don't give up any equity, even in a lease. In your case, having owned it, definitely get the dealer to give you a fair amount of equity in terms of cash in your lease deal.

Hi. I am getting ready to negotiate on a 2016 Q50 Sport. Do you have the MF and residuals for this car at 15K per year and is there a sweet spot for leasing right now (I know when I got my Lexus it was 27 months)?

Also, are there any differences in residual or MF depending on options packages?

Finally, is now a good time to lease or is August typically better?

I'm within pennies of that quote (rounding error, I'm sure).

That said, I'm showing .00003 as the base MF on the 2.0T AWD Premium, this month. That markup is costing you $25/mo on the payment.
