    Spoke to another dealer in South Florida area. They are giving me a rate of 0.00171 and 54% for 36/10 lease. It doesn't seem to be possible to get the published rates in this area. Does anyone have experience with a dealer in this area willing to quote at or near the base rates?

    You may have to expand your search area to include Tampa/St. Pete, Orlando or Jacksonville - it only takes one dealer to meet your terms.

    A few questions regarding GLS & GLs.
    1) For a 2017 GLS 450, how much can the MF lower by applying MSDs?

    2) Last time I leased from MB a few years back, I assume you can still add the scheduled maintenance to the lease at a reduced cost (eg. add the 3 year 30K maint and only pay the residual % rather than the full cost). Still the case?

    3) Lastly, instead of a 2017, I still see there are a few new 2016 GL350 BlueTECs out there. Diesels are not available for 2017. Does anyone have the lease rates on those for a 36 or 42 month, 12K or 15K per year?

    1. We don't have the MSD particulars for MB
    2. We've heard from other posters that this is still the case. However. others have stated that their dealer won't do that. YMMV
    3. No 2016 GL lease numbers, this month.

    Is there a substantial "weight fee" in california? a dealer included a $360 weight fee for a GLS450. also, what is a typical "Disposition fee" on a lease? mine says $1095. both look suspicious to me...

    Some trucks that qualify for accelerated depreciation for businesses (6000 lbs.+) are classified as commercial vehicles. I'm not familiar with that fee, but seems to be in line with that type of vehicle.

    $795 is the acquisition fee. Dealers can mark it up to $1095 for extra profit. I'm sure that MBFS has a disposition fee, but it isn't charged until lease end (and, that number is not likely it).

    After I asking the salesman why my monthly payment is not around $880 ($808 + NYS taxes $72), he telling me that : When you roll taxes into payment,NYS will penalizes you not only the tax amount increase by over $300, but the interest also added. Here is the details : MSRP: $78225. Selling Price: $72750. MF 0.00071 with 54% Residual. 42/10K=$820 w/$4845 up front. $4845 includes 1st month, Bank Fee($795) and Sales Taxes. Or $905 w/$1798 up front. The $1798 includes !st month and Bank Fee only. Residual is $42,242. Is that true ? And $905 monthly payment with $1798 up front is the right number I should pay ?     Our recommendation is to pay only the first payment and DMV costs up front - roll all the taxes and fees into the cap cost. Yes, you'll pay interest on that amount, but you won't get a refund of the unused fees or taxes if the car is stolen or totaled before the end of the lease.

    We show .00071 MF and 56% residual for 36/12.

    Any idea of the adjusted CAP cost? Selling price?
    State and tax rate?

    Why put $8000 upfront on a vehicle that you are renting monthly?

    Its Maryland. Cap was 77K+. 8k is coming though part of our trade in value. Because of the trade in we were able to get the tax savings on the deal. The initial offering was $1160

    MD is offering tax credits? That's news to us.

    Ask for the breakdown of how the $8K is being used.

    Ok I will ask for the breakup. We wanted to stay under $900 and with 8K trade in amount and auto pay we were able to achieve that. Also we have financed in the past so it was more like out of habit. I really appreciate the feedback.

    If you need to put a bunch of money down on a lease to get to a payment, perhaps you should look at something less expensive. :wink:

    Yes Michaell you are right and this is what happens when ones heart outruns the mind, we are in love with this car! So 8k includes, 1st installment, DMV costs and taxes, processing fee, bank fee, charge to bring car from another city, prepaid maintenance coverage upto 30k miles. As per them the balance will bring down the selling price. Thanks in advance.

    I just got a deal of the 2017 GLS 450. $899 36/10 includes everything. I don't pay anything upfront but roll taxes , DMV and everything . I am in New York . Is that a good deal ?

    We would need to know the MSRP and adjusted cap cost to know for sure.
