Dropped in to see the interior color on this specific GLS and my former salesman is now the sales manager.

I got an offer from my dealer, MSRP $79100 inc Delivery $925.
for 36/10k,
1771.07 down, $1003/mo.

I am in New York, dealer is in PA.
He claims he took 10% off MSRP but based on the current residual & MF, in my makeshift calculator I am getting $881/mo with 1st month, Bank Fees, DMV, Tag/Title upfront, taxes rolled in.

I emailed him asking if he gave me 5.5% off, he said no, this is 10% off.
What do you think? Maybe he rolled bank fees in? But even with $900 bank fee (can you tell me how much is bank/acquisition?) it can't be over $910.

Any suggestion/ideas?

I know. Not easy to find a 2017 in NYC/Long Island area and it's still ~200 cheaper per month than a 2018. Trade value is just OK, probability can get ~6000 if shopping around and ~7000 to a private buyer.

Lease term: 36/12
MSRP: $77,020 (plus $1,125 3-year maintenance rolled into lease)
Sale price: $68,600 plus $1,125 (total $69,725)
Down: $0
MF: 0.00071
RV: $43,761.20
Tax rate: 7.75%

Monthly: $801.79 + $62.14 tax ($863.93 total)

Dealer jacked up acquisition fee to $1095 and charged ~$200 in doc/dealer fees which brought up the drive-offs to around $2700 but I figured the deal was otherwise good enough not to walk away.

Check with a dealer for residual reduction for current mileage. I would assume it's on a cents/mile basis, but Mercedes could have their own rules
