You'll just have to trust us.

If the dealer gives you an inflated number, politely tell them you won't sign a deal. They know what the base rates are. You should be able to find a dealer willing to play ball with you and be transparent.

OK, trust it will be then. I notice that if I use the mbusa.com lease/finance calculator on their website that the payments match very closely to the numbers you provided. Should I assume that MB does actually use their real base numbers for mf and residual for this calculator? They auto enter the base price of the car so you have to "pro-rate" it for whatever the final cap cost of the car is. It makes it very clear that the AMG, S, SL are not very good leases compared to their other cars. Interestingly, the AMG GT sports car is pretty good and the only AMG car with a decent lease. Thanks again for this very helpful site. I like to go into a deal "armed".

I wouldn't put much stock in the lease calculators on the MB website. Might be accurate, but might not have any relation to reality.

I have seen the dealers screen and there is a drop down where you can select upto 10 MSDs. However, be aware that the dealer might not offer you the 10 MSDs but based on what I saw on his screen it is allowed.

Hey guys, I wanted to share my lease experience on a 2017 C300 4Matic Sedan on Long Island, NY. I didn't sign the contract yet since they are ordering the car from another dealer's lot (difficult to find sports package in NY) so there is still time to talk me out of it (maybe)

2017 C300 4Matic Sedan with Sports Pkg, Premium 1 Pkg, Panorama Sunroof
MSRP: $48460
Sales price (including $1500 dealer cash): $44850
Sales tax: $1799.14
Bank acquisition fee: $795
Adjusted Cap Cost: $47444.14
36 months/10,000 miles a year
Sign and drive for $581.71 a month (it would have been $558 a month if I had only rolled taxes into the payment and paid fees upfront).
Mercedes Benz is also writing me a check for $671.84 for the remaining 2 months I have left on my current Nissan lease (I'll just owe the disposition).

Does this sound good?

Doesn't seem too bad. To get that payment you'd need about $5700 off the MSRP price which is about 8.5% off. Personally, I would shoot for at least 10% off MSRP (or $6689 off, payment would be ~$820 month) or higher if you can. If the deal goes through that I'm currently negotiating, I'm looking at ~12% off MSRP of a standard C300 Coupe for your reference. I'm not sure if the margins are higher or lower on the C43 (I'd assume they'd be higher, meaning you could probably do a little better). Best of luck to you.
