I get $551/mo.+tax, so that looks correct. That's the correct MF and residual, as well. .00080 is a huge savings. $800 extra in doc fee and marked up acq.fee, but the discount is really good.
I agree regarding the markups... but think that overall - it's pretty solid. It's my first time doing a MB deal, but I think it mostly washes out in my favor.
Greetings. Looking at a C43 sedan in Minnesota either lease (36m/15K) or purchase before end of November. 3 questions please:
1. I see a base MF of .00129 in CA quoted above for a C43 ... is it the same for same for Minnesota? Dealer right now is quoting MF of .00173 which I suspect is highly marked up.
2. Dealer is quoting RV of 57% which sounds right ... can you confirm?
3. Dealer right now is quoting a discount of 8.6% of MSRP including my "fleet discount." Right now for 2017 C-Class that is at $2000, but does that apply to AMG versions? Also not including the fleet discount, what is a reasonable ask on the discount off MSRP. Is 11-12% reasonable?

1. MB numbers are national. Dealer is marking up the MF on you 2. Dealer cannot adjusted the residual values; they are set by the bank 3. We don't track pricing, and we don't have any MB incentive information. My thought on your situation is "if you don't ask, you don't get" - ask for 12% off sticker and see what the dealer comes back with. This is a somewhat limited edition model, so it's possible you won't get the same type of discounts as you would on a regular C-class.
I'm looking to lease a 2017 C300 4MATIC with Package 4 for 36 months @ 12k miles/year at Upstate NY
The website gives me a price of $52,005 (MSRP) I used the Edmund's calculator with the following:
MSRP - $52,005 Down - $4,500 Incentives - $5200 (10% discount off MSRP) Residual Value - 58% Money Factor - 0.00124
I come up with a monthly payment of $550/month. I also have some negative equity on my Honda which I'm going to trade-in as well. I assume the negative equity to be about $5,000 which I plan to roll into my new payments. I also get a 5% discount on top of dealer quoted price.
Is it reasonable for me to expect a payment of less than $550/month?

.00127 and 61% for 36/12 on the C300 4Matic.
The down payment pretty much wipes out the negative equity, so that's a wash.
Using the MSRP and 10% discount, I get $519/mo. That assumes all other costs (taxes, fees, etc.) are paid up front.
Get a specific cap cost, and a hard number on the negative equity, and we can get you a better sense of what the payment should be.

Thanks so much for the help. Is the following a good deal?
MSRP: 52,835 Price after discounts: 45,994 MF: 0.00096 (with auto pay) Residual: 58% Out the door: 4,347.67 (3k down + taxes/fees) Acquisition fee: 1,095 (rolled into lease)
Lease (w/CA tax): $486.64/month @ 36/12k miles
I feel like they may have inflated the MF b/c my calculations don't align. Either way would like to know if it's a good deal

If this is for RWD, the adjusted MF for AutoPay is correct.
What is the adjusted cap cost, after the cap reduction is deducted and the fees added in?
If I use $44,089 (selling price less $3K down plus $1095 acquisition fee), I get $445/mo before tax, or $485/mo if the tax rate is 9%.
Pretty close to the quote you were given, but confirm all the numbers.

Good discount from sticker.
The adjusted cap cost is $44,060.98
Last question. What would the monthly cost be if I paid $3000 out the door? Essentially moving $1347.67 into the lease?

Hi Michaell, I'm looking for November residual rate and money factor for 2017 C300 4Matic Coupe in 36-month term and 12k miles a year. Also, has December figures been published, yet? Thank you.
Hi all! Total n00b here. So please bear with me... My inquiry is on a '17 C63 S Coupe with options all of which are on my favorites list. MSRP on it is $92k. Dealer has offered $1,500 off MSRP, but I believe he can do better--much better perhaps. Any help will be highly appreciated. Was thinking of offering $78,955.
I did some search on the MF on 36/10k and 36/12k on this model/trim and lease terms and what I found in the posts here was from Nov. 2. Is that still valid?
Lastly, it seems the MSD and how beneficial it can be is entirely at the discretion of the dealer; is that correct? But has anyone dealing with MB here has had any good luck with that? I'm still trying to understand how, in concrete terms, MSD's help reduce the monthly payments.

The numbers from 11/2 are still valid, through tomorrow.
You can offer whatever amount you want - dealer doesn't have to accept it. No idea what pricing is like on these limited edition AMG models, however.
MSD buys down the MF, which reduces the amount of rent charge you pay on the lease. Lower rent charge, lower monthly payment. Often $30-50/mo. And, you get the MSD monies back at the end of the lease. Never heard of it being at the dealer discretion, however. We have heard conflicting information as to whether it can be used on subvented MF, however. The C63S Coupe, however, uses the standard MF, so applying MSD ought not to be a problem.

The dealer quoted the following:
C300 4 MATIC with Package 3 and some options
MSRP: $50,735 Down: $4,500 (Doesn't include DMV,Tax and Fees) State: NY (Western NY) Discounts: 10% (Employee discount) + Auto Pay Term: 36 months
Current Trade-in appraisal: $10,500 Amount owed to Honda: $17,960 Negative equity: $8,000
Monthly payment: $578/month
Is this a good deal?
We still don't see the capitalized cost in the numbers from the dealer.
It will be the negotiated selling price plus any taxes and fees you are not paying up front plus the negative equity, less the up front cash of $4500.
$7000 of negative equity adds almost $200/mo to your payment. Any chance you can hold on to the Honda longer and work that negative equity number down?

Thanks for the info. One more thing.... Maybe I have misunderstood the whole concept of one-time lease pay, but if a dealer tells me I can lease a $91k vehicle with a one-time payment of $50,700, isn't he implying that the residual value of the car after 2 years is 44% off of the MSRP? And if so, isn't that a terrible residual value, especially for a 2017 MB?!

AMG cars have lousy residuals, relative to their more pedestrian brethren. The $50,700 also includes your rent charge (aka interest). Residual is set by the bank; dealer cannot alter it.
Hello - I'm new to leasing and I'm considering a 2017 C300 Coupe 4matic MSRP is around $51,400. I see that others on the board are able to get 10-12% off. Can anyone help with structuring the most aggressive deal that I should be able to get? I'm location in FL.
excellent credit, Preferably no money down, 36/10k

I'm looking at a C300 4Matic 10k - 36 months in Ohio. Do you mind sharing the current money factor and residual?
Also I got two quotes from a local dealer and they used residual of 66.25 and 66.46. Any ideas why the numbers they used would have been so high?
Thanks for the help in advance!
Could be a third party bank, with such high residuals.

MSRP - $52,005
Down - $4,500
Incentives - $5200 (10% discount off MSRP)
Residual Value - 58%
Money Factor - 0.00124
I come up with a monthly payment of $550/month. I also have some negative equity on my Honda which I'm going to trade-in as well. I assume the negative equity to be about $5,000 which I plan to roll into my new payments.
I also get a 5% discount on top of dealer quoted price.
Is it reasonable for me to expect a payment of less than $550/month?
