36/15. Check with a dealer for residual reduction for excess miles.

Sedan: .00123 MF and 57% residual
Coupe: .00129 MF and 53% residual

    Can't help with pricing.

Hi there, possibly interested in a AWD convertible. Interested in getting residual and MF on 2017 C 300 4matic convertible? I'm in Colorado. 36 or 39 whichever is the sweet spot and 10k miles per year or 7500 if MB goes that low. Any rebates or lease cash right now?

Looking at leasing a C43 sedan... MSRP is about 69,600
Their first offer was about $2300 off MSRP....
I think I can do better........
They tell me acquisition fee is $1095.... That seems kind of high....
My guess is that they are marking it up...
What is standard acquisition fee in Ft. Lauderdale area ?

Also, can I get residual for 36/12k for the sedan...
    also 48/12k for the sedan...
Does Mercedes do 39 or 42 month leases ?

    Standard money factor also please.

    Thanks for the help

    .00106 and 60% for 36/7.5. Subtract 1% for 10K.

    No incentive information for MB.

Looking to lease a C300 Coupe. Local dealer has a New 2017 C300 Coupe on sale going on for $38500. MSRP was $44035. Haven't talk to him with the details, just went on for a test drive. Is this a good deal? Considering is already almost $6000 off MSRP. (Only has a rearview camera and a rim package).
Just contacted the dealer, with taxes and fee the total comes out to be $41454. Reasonable?

Thanks! And that's strange, I was given a quote of .0011 and 57% for 39 months. The 36 months you mentioned is much better.

Actually, those are very close. The 39 month lease will probably be $10-$15 per month less, with those parameters.

Hi, I am looking at leasing a 2017 C300 sedan RWD in California in Feb. Does anyone have updated MF and RV figures yet for 36 months and 10k/12k/15k miles? Also, could autopay knock off 0.00010 from the MF you quote? Could one also use MSDs (in addition to autopay) on the MF you quote? And do you find that dealers deviate from the $795 acquisition fee that is posted on the mbusa website? Thanks for the insight into these questions!

    .00124 MF and 61%/60%/58% residual.

Yes, Autopay reduces MF by .00010.

Some dealers say you can't use MSDs with a subvented money factor. Other members report that they have been able to do this.

Dealers can markup the acquisition fee by $300 for extra profit.

Thanks for the reply here. In people's experiences, has anyone leased a car without the dealer charging the acquisition fee of $795 (or whatever mark up is added)? And is that commonly negotiated?

In California, do you recommend capitalizing some or all fees (acquisition fee, DMV fees, others), vs. paying upfront?

Every MBFS lease has an acquisition fee. It's not up to the dealer (except for the markup portion)

I'm getting into the weeds here, but hopefully for the benefit of other forum participants too -- in California, assuming one capitalizes the acquisition fee... is it better to (1) allow for a large markup on the acquisition fee (say $500 markup for example) and take an additional $500 reduction on the selling price of the car, or (2) reduce the acquisition markup (by $500) and allow for a higher selling price by $500?

The heart of this question comes down to California DMV fee/tax expenses, which is something I'm not familiar with. But *I think* the initial DMV fee is based on the "selling price" of the car and not the "net cap cost" (which would suggest that option 1 is slightly better, but not by much as DMV fees are low). However, does the selling price of the car (or net cap cost, if applicable) carry forward into the calculation of the annual DMV registration and license fees? (Hence, might a slower selling price be advantageous longer term here?).

    Thanks again for your advice.

First.. the maximum acquisition fee markup is $300.

DMV fees are either based on selling price or MSRP (and, I think it's MSRP), but since they average about 1.1% of that number, $300 either way is almost irrelevant. (under $4 difference)

Thank you again. While I have not followed up and confirmed this directly with a particular dealership, I have received quotes from such dealership which *suggested* the markup on the acquisition fee was much higher $300. I was directly given figures for residual, MF, selling price, tax rate, and doc fees, but not for the acquisition fee, which was assumed to be capitalized (as it was not a part of the drive off costs). I can back into their numbers to the cent, but only if I jack up the acquisition fee markup well above $300.

The base acquisition fee is $795. Maximum charge is $1095.

Ask for the adjusted CAP cost, and a reconciliation of that and the selling price (what was added, what was subtracted)

You should get the actual numbers, then you won't have to back into anything.

Hi! I just started reading all this.. I wish I found this when I leased my 428i 3 years ago! Any who..

May I get the MF and residual for C300 coupe RWD. looking to lease by mid-end of march

    36/12k and 36/15K

In Orange County,CA and Las vegas,NV

I can get the car in either state, Which state would be a better financial choice?

I "built" my car online and it came out to 54,000

Assuming I will negotiate it down, how much of a discount should I shoot for?

Also, I know there is MSRP price, but is the "invoice price" the same as the adjusted cap cost?

    just for an example:
    c300
    msrp 51060
    invoice 48291
    1017 drive off
    36 x 12k x 519 monthly payment

I'm a newbie so thank you for helping

    .00106 MF and 58%/56% residual

Seems like you might get more competition for your business in California. You have to pay taxes where you register, so there aren't really any differences.

The adjusted CAP cost is the same as "amount financed" on a loan. It's the selling price you negotiate, plus any additions not paid upfront (acquisition fee, etc), minus any reductions (rebates or downpayments).

Can't help you with a price to shoot for, though. Your example would be a good deal.

Thank you, this makes sense. I suspect there were extra "dealer fees" which were capitalized.

BTW, love this forum... I've learned so much from it, and in the process, hopefully am becoming a more educated lease consumer (and helping others here who may have the same questions)!

One way I found to look at a lease is total lease cost for the life of the lease =
    The sum of:
    (a) Lease pmt * monthly term, plus
    (b) your drive off cost, less one monthly payment included already in (a).

    - Is this a good way to compare leases?

    - And assuming you capitalize as much as possible, and assuming roughly the same total cost (roughly the same payment and drive off cost), is a low MF and higher adjusted cap cost better, or a higher MF and lower adjusted cap cost better?

Maybe one should be indifferent, but not sure if I'm missing considerations like one wrecks the car mid-lease, or the car is stolen mid-lease.

Well. you want the base money factor, and as low a price as you can get.

But, if you have to pick, take the lower price with the higher money factor, if the payments and residual are equal. That way, your payoff balance is lower, throughout the lease (until the end).
