Thanks again to the moderator Michaell. I was able to get a great lease deal for Explorer XLT AWD with one of Ford dealers in bay area, CA. BTW, the lease rebate is not $2250 but $2750. RV/MF are correct, 50% and 0.25% for 15K/yr/36mon.

I want to lease a Ford Explorer Sport but want to make sure I'm getting a good deal. I overpaid on my current Ford lease and I don't want to do that again.

From what I've read on this forum down payments are not recommended for leases. I understand why but I needed my payments to be under $450 a month. That is why I chose to put money down.

Here are all the details the dealer gave me yesterday. I used my X-Plan Pricing.

If you had the adjusted CAP cost, that would help, but the payment looks about right.
No point in wondering if you put too much upfront. You stated that you had to be under $450, right?

I guess the biggest question is whether a $2000 discount before rebates is a good price?
We don't track prices, so I don't know that answer.

I show $474/mo. at that CAP cost.
So, I don't see any problems with the deal. The only way to see if you can do better, is to shop it around to other dealers.

It is actually 546.39

If that rate is 1.25% APR, then the rent charge seems too low.
Should be about $37.44/mo, or about $1347 total.

Yes, the RCL incentive is the lease cash.

May or may not be included in any prices you see advertised. It's up to the individual dealer to decide whether to pass along the lease cash to the customer.
