I'd roll the $925 and $791 into the payment.
That makes the payment about $371/mo, with about $1100 due at signing.

Are you in Texas? If so, tax is assessed against the full selling price.
Definitely roll into the payment.
Shoot for 6%-7% off, before deducting rebate.
Add 3% or 2% for 10K or 12K/yr.

I get $427/mo with those numbers.

We'd suggest you addthe sales tax, acquisition fee and dealer doc fee to the selling price. Your payment will go up to $501, but your out of pocket costs drop to $806.

New to leasing, so please excuse for this generic lease related question. Assuming a leased car gets into an accident and is fully insured and gets fixed back to new. One would assume due to the accident history, the RV would go lower. Who takes the hit for the lower RV?

If the repairs are done properly, you just turn it back in at lease end. It's the bank's problem, not yours.

Looking at 2018 sDrive28i with metallic paint and no other options or packages.

BMWUSA site shows $38,050 MSRP.

Quote I got with just first payment and DMV fees for 36 months, 10k miles per year is:

$944 at inception which includes the first month
$514.06 per month, including sales tax for CA (Bay Area).

The only other fees cited is "$350 disposition fee plus any wear and tear to the car" at the end of the lease.

This is a quote for European Delivery.

I know with the first of a new model year, the lease deals aren't as good. But this seems high to me, even with the ED discount.

For starters, AZ taxes the monthly payment, so the "total" amount you list is incorrect.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost; that should clear things up.

Any credit score over 700 qualifies you for the top tier MF - which is .00151 this month. Dealer is marking that up for extra profit.

Keep chipping away at the numbers; if they refuse to play ball, check with dealers around Phoenix. Only takes one to make a deal on your terms.

$329/mo+ tax, if the adjusted CAP cost is $30,300 (putting $700 of the upfront money as CAP cost reduction)

$2500 upfront = $355 1st payment + $520 DMV/doc fees + $925 acquisition fee + $700 CCR

So, around $355/mo. assuming 8% tax and $2500 due at signing.
