If your lurking somewhere out there? Need some advice. I've found a dealership with several new Honda Accords EX-L and EX-L V6's with anywhere from 2K-5K miles on them. They are either demo's or employee(managers cars). Not registered yet from what I can see. I will inquire with them about that though. What do you think would be a reasonable price to offer? I am in Maryland and one other member on here got a new EX-L V6 for 27,073 OTD. I was looking at 23.5k-24.5k out the door. I've given up on getting an EX manual. I've contacted every dealership that you recommended to me back in April about a price on one. And have hit them up at the end of the month ever since and they've been sky high!
what is your best price with buying a Manuel Accord to date ??

Your state Maryland has the best pricing in the country on Accord models, weather its a limited model like the Manuel Ex, or EXL. Make your best deal at the end of any month. The key to a great deal is letting each dealer know I'm buying today. Then on that day negotiate with 15 dealerships via internet or phone till you secure the best price out of your targeted dealerships . If $1500 to 2k below invoice is the best price on a Manuel Accord then buy it........ you got the best price from your area and dealerships. Good luck

NY / NJ / PA...... not as good as other area's .. Target pricing 2k below invoice plus lease cash . You may do better if dealers have a lot of your model on lots.
Email all your targeted dealerships ask for $2500 below invoice price which should include the $875 dest/ charge.... plus any lease cash for the sale that day.

@brian125 I sent you a email can you look into the deal I'm working on for a Chevy Silverado.... Tks
While negotiating the best sale price on a car, take those doc fees into account. There are a lot of tips on this forum on how to get the best deal. End of the month will be the best time to buy.
On a side note, I will not be purchasing another Honda any time soon. I was looking to purchase a Touring but pricing for the 2017 model was not aggressive enough for me. The 2018 model looks awful (design-wise) IMO.
by the end of this month.
Be reasonable when negotiating. Getting 2k to 2500 below invoice is still a great deal for the Accord coupe .......... Just because your area / you cant make a lower deal does not mean its a bad deal. The 17 Accord is a great vehicle. If possible avoid vehicles with to many add on's unless dealers will discount items closer to there invoice price.
Thru Edmunds web site you could scan thru your buying area ( put in zip code ) for all models desired making your search easier.

You'll have to provide a price breakdown for that value, as almost all states have different fees. For example, sales price, tax, destination fees, etc. The experts on this forum need that info to provide helpful advice.
Reach out to as many dealers as you can for pricing in a couple of weeks. Ask about Flex cash and make sure dealers include their doc fees and any other fees in any price quote.
If you do not plan to buy this month, the best deals can be had when the 2018 models arrive at dealerships next month, probably.
Good luck.

Yes that was just a sales price. In no rush so definitely have time to wait it out and see if any better deals transpire at the end of the month or even next.
MSRP for the Sport SE with CVT transmission: $27,190 (includes $875 destination fee)
Invoice Price: $24,951 (includes $875 destination fee)
Your price is $2651 (24,951 - 22,300) below invoice. This is a great deal.
What are dealer doc fees? As long as you are in not in FL, where doc fees can be as much as $800, I would get on this deal.
Good luck.
I live in San Diego but I can go as far as Los Angeles if needed for better pricing.
Looking at a new 2017 Honda Accord EX-L v6 w/ Sensing or Touring in Lunar Silver. Gotten one pricing apiece.
OTD EX-L v6: $31,500
OTD Touring: $33,500
Both its $3000 down and 0.9% rate w/ 60 months for financing.
Just want to know if I can get better deals if I wait till 2018 model comes out, any input is appreciated.
1. MSRP
2. Sale price before any incentives
3. Incentives if any
4. Dealer doc fees
5. Dealer add-ons/accessories
MSRP EX-L v6 w/ Sensing: $33,730
MSRP Touring: $35,805
Sales EX-L v6 w/ Sensing: $28,661
Sales Touring: $30,590
Didn't qualify for any incentive, like student for military. Ask for standard, no additional add-on/accessories.
Wondering if I should wait till next month when 2018 Accord comes in. Will these price drop then?
You can do better with pricing on the Touring. Wait till the last two days of the month to make a deal. You could offer $29k before any fees or taxes on the Touring on the last day of the month, and tell the dealer you will buy today at that price. Did you look up dealer inventory to find out whether they have the car you want in your color combo without any accessories? If not, you should do that asap.
You did not say what the dealer doc fees are. Read up on some of the tactics others have used on this forum to negotiate good deals.
You can wait for the 2018 models to arrive, but there is no guarantee prices on the 2017 will drop. It is all about supply and demand.

One other thing to consider ... every day you wait, inventory shrinks. Will you be able to get the trim and color you want, two weeks from now?
At some point, the scales tip in favor of the dealer on old inventory, and prices actually increase for those last units. No idea when that will happen, mind you, since the '18's have yet to hit the lot.
Just something to think about.
