    Hi!

Was looking for info on Infiniti leases and came across this site. Thanks everyone for the great info!

I'm hoping to get some assistance. I currently have an Infiniti lease coming up and am looking to lease a new Q60 or 50 3.0t. It's the end of the month so I could make the call to the dealer tomorrow or wait until July.

Wondering if anyone knows of any special incentives that dealers have available so I know what I'm working with going into the process.

Also wondering what the MF & RV for the Q50 & Q60 3.0t in Illinois for a 39/10k or 39/12k.

    Thank you!

We don't have the Infiniti incentive info.

What trim level for the Q60? RWD or AWD?

The Q50 thread can be found here:

    https://forums.edmunds.com/discussion/43152/infiniti/q50/2017-infiniti-q50-lease-questions#latest

@Michaell - thanks for the reply. Being in IL it's definitely got to be the AWD.

The goal is the Q60 3.0t AWD with:

    Leather Seating Package
    Driver Assistance Package
    Dark Maple Wood Package

The MSRP is showing $55k. I'm just wondering what in the world my target capitalized cost should be on this vehicle. I've been trying to do my homework this time around before contacting the dealership internet sales team.
    Base, premium or sport?

We don't track selling prices - use the 'make / model / year' pull downs from the top of the page to link to the price tools.
Thanks Michael, my apologies on being so naive on the site. I'm still digging an and getting the hang of it. As for the Q60 I'm looking for the premium packaging in the 3.0t AWD.

We haven't seen the new Infiniti program. NY does not allow MSDs, so that is out, if you plan on using them.

Thanks. I guess, at this point, it might be better to wait for 2018 models to come out. The residual is very low. I was going to lease it last month when the residual was 51%, and I thought they might have better cash incentives in the summer.

Here is a recent offer i've gotten in illinois for a Q60 3.0T Prem AWD:

    12k miles/39months
    MSRP $50,640
    MF .00003
    Residual 50%
    Cap Cost $43,033
    Payment $505.87

They did not tell me what the dealer and acquisition fees are yet. But they broke down the fees due at signing are $172.15 documentation fee
    101$ license plate
    $95 title transfer
    $25 filing fee

Any thoughts? I calculated $512.85 payment so maybe i'm doing something wrong. Also it's their first offer so i'm thinking they have some wiggle room in the cap cost?

This is Illinois. They're asking for first month payment and the $393.15 in fees outlined above.

EDIT: I calculated $31.93 in taxes per month bringing the total to $488 per month. I should probably ask how theyre getting to the $505.87 amount. I've asked why there is a delta of $17 and to provide the adjusted cap cost.

IL doesn't tax the payment, each month.

Rather, they sum up all the payments, then tax the total amount. If you don't pay that tax up front, it gets added to the cap cost, which then subject the tax to the interest.

So with a 7% tax rate on the total amount rolled into the cap cost are you getting $505 that was quoted to me? I am not so I'm wondering what I am doing wrong.

Yes, getting the adjusted cap cost should clear things up - you also want to make sure you fully understand how they got to that number from the selling price.

That's August? So no change from July?

Math looks good; about as good a deal as you're gonna get.

Hi, do you have the numbers for a Red Sport 400, 39/12k, in  Western NY?   The money factor seems to be off by a factor of 10.

    Current offer I'm working with:

    MSRP 58,705
Cap cost 51,610 (sale price of 50,910 + acquisition fee of 700)
    MF 0.0003
    Residual 50%
    Monthly Payment: 595
Amount due at signing $2882  (Taxes, first payment, $257 in fees)

My target price was $575, and the 10x higher MF seems to be the sticking point.

    Anything else I'm missing?  TIA

EDIT:  The Salesperson provided a corrected MF of .00003, bringing my payment to $572... any reason I shouldn't pull the trigger?

I get $573/mo with the corrected MF and your prices, but we recommend you limit your up front cash to just the first payment and DMV/registration costs - roll the taxes and other fees into the selling price. This will increase your payment, but you won't risk that up front cash. It will be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

    Sport RWD - .00003 and 50% for 39/12
    RS RWD - .00003 and 51% for 39/12

36 month residuals are actually lower

Thank you very much! is that the base money factor or is there room to negotiate for lower money factor? This is my first time leasing a car and im between BMW and Infiniti. How likely is this car to be bought back by dealer before lease ends?

That is the base MF - practically 0

Why would you want the dealer to buy back the car before the lease ends? The point of a lease is to drive it for the lease term.

I'm just exploring options in case I want to lease another car before the current lease ends. Thank you for your response.

Thanks. I had 572.92, and just lazily rounded down, but 573 it is.

I get that about the upfront risk, and normally I would have kept the cash-down lower (especially since the MF is so low right now it's like free money), but I'm also buying a house next year, and trying to strike a balance on keeping the payments a little bit lower for my DTI ratio next year.

    Thanks again!

No worries - enjoy the new car!

If you really wanted to keep the DTI low, why not lease an Accord or a Camry?
