We'd also suggest rolling the acquisition fee into the payment.

Likely to be a dealer fee, as well - try to mitigate that with a lower selling price. Anything else likely to be junk.

I normally don't like putting too much out of pocket, but I really wanted my payments to be in the mid 4's.  Anyway, I think i got an excellent deal and I think it has a lot do with the fact that its a RWD as opposed to an AWD here in the northeast.

Using your numbers, the adjusted cap cost would be around $46,000 to get a payment of $500/mo (assuming 7% sales tax rate).

We do not recommend putting money down on a lease - just the first payment and DMV costs should be given when the paperwork is signed.

Ask the dealer what adjusted cap cost they are using; that should help clear things up.
