How much is the MF and residual on a 2017 Q60 RS AWD 12K/39M in Illinois?

Is there any Infiniti Loyalty money or other Loyalty program benefits for January?

    Thanks,

How often do MF and residual change? are they based on credit scores? could they be negotiated?

Looking at leasing a 2017 Q60 Red Sport RWD and working on my research.

What are the most current MF and Residual?

Also, just to clarify, infiniti numbers do not change by state right?

In general, the numbers change each month.

.00029 and 54% for 39 months, 15,000 miles per year.

    The Infiniti numbers are national.

Residuals do not get better as the model year progresses, it is quite the opposite. The only thing that you can expect to decrease is the MF.

Thank you @kyfxd. Would you be able to share the MSD info as well?

Infiniti allows up to 9 MSDs at a discount of .00010 to the money factor for each one.

But, with an MF of .00024, you'd only be able to make two MSDs, bringing the MF down to .00004

Thanks again for the info @kyfxd. Even with the low MF, this vehicle comparatively has gone up over $200/mo since I last leased an AWD coupe. I'm month-to-month now, but am going to hold off to see if the usual customer/loyalty cash incentives program is available again this Spring, so will check back here in another month or so.

@radtrax , you are comparing a 330HP coupe to a 400HP coupe. Thats apples to oranges.

If you were to price out a 3.0T Sport (Non RedSport) , it will come out much closer in pricing.
  • radtraxradtrax Member Posts: 40
    edited February 2017
@killacam327 , I trust a 3.0T would price closer, but going down to 300HP still tastes like sour apple. The difference in the MSRP's of a fully loaded previous G-gen vs a current Q-gen with just a premium package are not that significant compared to the overall lease cost's between the two right now. Rebates may make a small difference, but I'm not expecting the residuals will move.
  • killacam327killacam327 Member Posts: 12
@radtrax Its 300 HP but it actually makes more torque and the same power as the 3.7L

I agree tho, prices have definitely been bumped up and the Red Sport coupe is borderline out of my budget, but i refuse to grab a coupe with the same power. The Red Sport is dramatically much more powerful and way more fun to drive. I am hoping that for March, (Infiniti's fiscal year end), there will be more incentives on the Red Sport.

From the grapevine I heard that the Red Sports are sitting on lots, and not selling nowhere near the intended goal, to the point that Infiniti has put a pause on production of Red Sports.

Completely with you @killcam327 on refusing to go down on horsepower. Why Infiniti went to market with a less powerful 3.0T (base) is as beyond my understanding as their 'Q' model naming convention. Even though the 3.0T engine pulls harder with more torque than the previous generation 3.7L, most customers will primarily focus on the overall horsepower produced.

Listing the performance for their current and previous two generation V6 engines.
    G35 3.5L 306hp/268lb-ft
    G37 3.7L 330hp/258lb-ft
    Q60 3.0L 300hp/295lb-ft
    Q60 RS 3.0L 400hp/350lb-ft

I've leased a RWD 3.5L Sedan, a RWD 3.7L Anv Ed Sedan w/ 4-wheel Steering, a 3.7L AWD Coupe, and a 3.7L RWD Coupe. Looking to lease a AWD RS Coupe with Napa Red interior next.

The only thing that now has me concerned about waiting is if Infiniti is going to have Napa Red trim available or not going forward. Before the 2016 came out, it was only available in the Anv Edition & IPL. Now, the Napa Red trim is not available as an option anymore on their website build tool for the Q60.

I am not a car geek by any measure, but I do love my Infinitis as can be seen by my signature. Having turned in my '14 330 HP Q50 in December for a '17 Q60 3.0t I guess I can speak to the matter a bit. Yes, I was not happy about the drop of 30 HP, but I didn't want to pay $100 more in a lease payment for the RS. But once I got in the car I realized I feel zero difference in 0 to 60 times. However the acceleration when driving down the freeway is awesome. In fact the first couple of time I punched it on the freeway it was kind of shocking on how quickly the car accelerated.

Like the feedback @kingpcgeek. I've been very pleased with the Infititi's I've leased, too. Both of my favorites (the AWD coupe and the Anv Ed sedan) were involved in accidents. Otherwise, I would have ended buying them at end of lease term. I've been particularly impressed with the 7-speed trans and the cornering of both the AWD & 4-wheel steering systems, versus my first 5-speed and current RWD models.

Anyways, I'd be happy with a $50-100 increase in monthy payment going to a Q60 RS, but according to my calculations, it would be alot more than what I'm paying now.

Below is pretty close to how my final deal worked out on my current 2014 Q60 RWD. I payed the TTL+ Doc fees upfront (taken out of deposit). Either the dealer fee was ~$100 higher or there were some accessories that bumped my payment up ~$5/mo, so I ended up otd with a $470.60/mo payment.

2014 Q60 RWD (Sport, Prem, Nav)
    10k/24mo/0down
    .00007 MF/.168% 67% RV
    MSRP $49,680
    Invoice $46,167
    Dealer $595
    Acquisition $700
    Incentives ($4250)
    Cap Cost $43,617
    TTL $265
    MF/Rate .00007 or .168%
RV 33286 or 67% of MSRP
    Monthy Payment $466.35

First thing to notice is that the residual value for a 2014 RWD was 67% (an AWD would have been 68%), which is alot better than the 2017 RS AWD. The MSRP of a 2017 RS AWD is ~$6800 more, but at that time there was also $4250 of incentives for the 2014 which significantly lowered the Cap Cost below invoice, and ~$10k lower than a 2017 RS. The incentives that netted a lower Cap Cost price, along with the higher residual value, is what made the 2014 deal a heck of alot sweeter than what's available now for an RS.

My current calculation on a 2017 Q60 RS AWD w/ Premium Package looks something this.
    MSRP $56,455
    Invoice $52,567
    Dealer $595
    Acquisition $700
    Incentives ($0)
    Cap Cost $53,863
    MF/Rate .00024 or .567%
    TTL $250
    RV $34,438 or 61% of MSRP (24mo/10k/0down)
    Pre-tax Monthly Payment $860
    RV $34,438 or 62% of MSRP (24mo/12k/0down)
    Pre-tax Monthly Payment $836

Anyone know for certain if the napa red interior is available still or not for the 2017 Q60? Noticed you can't add it as an option on the website anymore, but it's still in the gallery.

  • radtraxradtrax Member Posts: 40
    RV $35,002 or 62% of MSRP (24mo/12k/0down)
    Pre-tax Monthly Payment $836

Dealer quoting me $637/month plus tax for 2017 Q60 3.0t Premium RWD. MSRP $48K with MF of .00048 and Residual of 54%.

It's sad to see Inifiniti nickel and dime on so many options. I wish they would simplify it. Although they make you pretty much get every option if you choose the tech package LOL

The darn Civic has remote start on most trims. Wish they included it standard on 2.0T premium and 3.0T premium models.

Lots of luxury brands are like that. A loaded Sonata or Accord has more standard features than most comparable cars from MB, BMW, Lexus, Infiniti, etc.

I happened to be at my local Infiniti dealer last week, just looking around. They have 1 QX30 base with a $30K MSRP; the rest of the stock had sticker prices of upper 30's to low 40's.

Salesman flat out told me that the $30K unit was for ads.

I am in South Florida. Can't seem to get a good deal from any dealer or broker. What should I expect to pay for 17 Q60 Premium $48k msrp? $1500 down including first month payment. I'm being quoted north of $615 for 15kmiles for 39months. Seems very high.

I am in South Florida. Can't seem to get a good deal from any dealer or broker. What should I expect to pay for 17 Q60 Premium $48k msrp? $1500 down including first month payment. I'm being quoted north of $615 for 15kmiles for 39months. Seems very high.

The biggest determining factor in the lease payment is the negotiated price. Use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools. Your goal is to be the TMV price for your zip code.

    .00024 MF and 53% residual

The adjusted CAP cost would have to be about $59,100 to get that payment.
If you are paying $2000 upfront, that's $3400 to be accounted for, outside of the sale price.

    $700 acquisition fee
    $2100 tax
    $300 DMV/Doc fee?

    That's only about $300 off..

Doesn't look like they are taking any liberties. If you are happy with the sale price, then the numbers are close.

I'm looking at getting a new 2017 Q 60 Red Sport RWD. 39/10k and was wondering if someone can help with the numbers. It seems like the dealer is rolling all the fees into the lease. If I pay Doc Fees, Acquisition, License/Registration "Up front costs" should this reduce my monthly payment? I would like to get a monthly payment under $600 with no down payment and just paying upfront costs.

It appears they also marked up the money factor, but not as bad as some other quotes I got.

    Quote from dealer-
    MSRP-54,855
The fees added to the price of the car of $48,855 are as follow.
    Doc Fees, $499
    Aqu Fees, $700
    License and Registration $830
Dealer added accessories plus tax $1146 ( these are deducted from the Cap Cost but because they are added to the car and do get residualized they have to show separately on the deal)
That makes a total of $3175
Residual is 57% money factor .00075
    Tax 8.1
Monthly Payment including tax $643 with Zero down.

    39/10 Q60 Red Sport RWD - .00041 and 57%

We do recommend rolling in the doc and bank fees into the lease payment - limit your out of pocket to the first payment and license / reg costs only. But, you are welcome to pay those costs up front, if you like.

Dealer installed accessories (that are not part of the window sticker) are not residualized - you pay 100% of that cost over the lease term (almost $30/mo)

If the selling price is the cap cost, and I use the base MF, I get $523/mo with tax included.

Thanks. How did they come up with $643/month and you calculated $523. I know you used the base MF and the dealer used .00075. I'm trying to figure out how they got their number and what I should negotiate or ask them about besides the MF so I can get to the 523/month or close to.

I used the $48,855 as the cap cost - assumed you would pay all the fees and such up front. The $3125 works out to about $80/mo. The rest is the MF markup.

Is this a good deal or should I try negotiating more? I dont have the exact break down of all the numbers but its closer to the $523 a month that you calculated with paying $3125 upfront.
    MF .00041/MF 57%
$2000 out the door including first months payment.
    $569 a month including tax
