I just found out that there are 4 VPP categories. VPP-A, B, C and D. VPP-A gives you the largest discount right now which is invoice minus $1250 on any Infiniti model including the red sport. You can negotiate your best deal and take another $1250 off instead but in NJ they are not discounting the red sport at all. The best I got without VPP was $200 off msrp. With VPP-A I got a awd red sport msrp 56,690 for a selling price of $52,090, $4600 or a little over 8% off msrp. I'm paying $536 without tax zero down for 39/10K. There aren't many red's around yet. Some Jersey dealers have none at all. I got the VPP-A discount from Infiniti finance as a loyalty incentive. If you are an Infiniti or Nisan owner I would inquire about it.
I'm still not sure what you are asking? Do you want this month's numbers, and then a comparison to last month's numbers? It seems you've already done that.
I was asking for confirmation the numbers on the 2.0 Premium.
There was a bit of confusion last month as IFS gave you two sets of numbers. One set before and one set after October 4th.
In this case I was just surprised that it appeared they have lowered the Residual by 2% on the 2.0 Premium thereby raising the monthly cost.
I've never seen IFS do that before. Usually the numbers improve or stay flat as the year progresses.
So I guess I'm asking are the new numbers correct?
What is our motivation to deceive you?
Yes, the numbers we've provided are correct.
Infiniti (and any other brand, for that matter), sets the numbers to what they think will help them move the most inventory and attain the highest margin. It's possible they looked at the October sales numbers and realized they left money on the table, so they dropped the residuals to adjust.
This is all speculation - I've got an image of the marketing and accounting folks locked in a cage, fighting it out.
I was in no way saying you were being deceptive. In fact, I stated earlier that I greatly appreciate the info you provide.
There was an change in the numbers given last month and I was just surprised with this change so I ask for confirmation that it wasn't a typo or as you said they decided to raise the rates. So if it appeared I was calling your integrity into question that was not my intent. I was merely trying to understand the change.

I think you guys are the best
No offense taken. Our numbers are often called into question by folks posting on the boards. What's funny is when the dealers try to counter them. Truth always wins, knowledge is power - and, enough dealers are savvy enough to recognize that if they want a sale, they've got to play ball.
Numbers can (and will) change from month to month, for all brands. As noted, it's partially marketing driven and partially finance driven.
My Iridium Blue Red Sport has been delivered to the dealership.
I re-worked my lease deal as follows:
39-mth/12k miles
$528/mth + tax with $0 cap reduction
9 MSDs used to lower money factor from .00166 to .00076 = $5800 total in security deposit, which will be returned to me at lease completion.
Looks like a good deal.
I thought all Red Sports had to be red.
Just looked odd to read about a Blue Red Sport.
How did you get 528 in payments !
I can't make the math to work ? I was at the dealership today getting very high payment just for a Q60 3.0t with max MSDs !
It is $528 + tax, as I mentioned earlier. For comparison, I kept the tax portion out of it, since it is variable depending on the municipality/state.
I didn't mention in this update, although I stated earlier in the thread, but my dealer honored the VPP Discount on this sale. With VPP (Business Partner), it came out to $400 over invoice. I negotiated down to invoice, and "gave in" on the dealership doc fees. However, I also paid out the dealer prep fee with MSDs so that the fee, although minor, wouldn't add to the monthly payment, and also would subsequently get taxed.
I pushed back as much as I could, but I was limited because the inventory of Iridium Blue Red Sport AWDs is low, especially with only the Premium Plus pacakge, and this particular car does not have any of the high-margin accessories (illuminated door sills, cargo organizer, etc.) tacked-onto the retail (VPP) price.

Can you give lease details for a 2017 Red Sport with 10k miles per year? (I could even do less miles per year if that's an option)
Of course the standard 39 month... Thanks!

I ask because kyfdx quoted these numbers to me earlier in the month.
.00138 MF and 63% residual is correct for 3.0 AWD for 39/10.

Looks like these numbers are valid through 1/3/17, though Infiniti reserves the right to change the program.

With $5k down, I was quoted $482/month w/o tax.

So I am correct in saying the numbers on the 2.0 Premium have gotten worse (2% lower residuals) while the others have stayed the same?

I am also asking because there was a change in the rates after October 4th and the numbers i was given before that were wrong.
Please don't get me wrong here. I greatly appreciate the valuable info you provide.
