They are using 60% since its 18k. They are saying if I put down 9 MSD 9x700 = 6300. My payment drops to 668/mo. That seems a big high? But i want to make sure. The money factor drops from .00144 to .00054 with 9 MSD.

I want to make sure the 668/mo is within range with my buy down. I feel like they may be 20-30/month off? But not sure?

They may be marking the MF up. Be polite and tell them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.

Lastly, I was offered VPP pricing from Infiniti. I have a code to give to the dealership. How will I know if a dealership is really giving me the correct numbers with the VPP discount? It's supposed to be invoice price minus an additional $1250. I've read that dealers could give different invoice prices to basically make more money.

No information on incentives.

Check with multiple dealers and see if you get consistent information about pricing. You can use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools, which includes the invoice amount.

I wound up closing this deal. $4,950 in MSDs and $482 first months at drive off. $482 a month.

Yes, RWD. So using those numbers and following the formula at https://www.edmunds.com/car-leasing/calculate-your-own-lease-payment.html I came up with a much lower monthly rate than what the dealer initially offered. I included the govt/doc/accessories/acq fees, and capitalized tax in the calculation. I plan on going back and specifically asking for the rates they used in the calculation. If they are using a money factor higher than the .00113 should I just find a different dealer? Is it unreasonable to ask them to match the number I get? Sorry, this will be my first lease so I'm new to all of this.

Politely tell the dealer you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.

I'm not a big fan of on-line calculators - they sometimes make assumptions that affect the payment calculated.

No. After 15K miles, extra miles are deducted from the residual on a per mile basis. Don't know the exact rate, but figure .10-.25 per mile.

Not likely to see any changes a few days ahead of the expiration date.

I need some help! Dealer is offering me the following:
Q60 RS Premium Plus
MSRP $56,455
Discount $2,840
Mileage 12k
This is not including tax, I'm in Illinois
I'm interested in the 39 month lease, the quote I got with first months payment + fees ($1k) is $740 a month. Is thi s a good deal? When I told them I had 6.5k to put down the number became $567 a month. What should I look out for here?

MSRP is an irrelevant number from days before the Internet. You always base your pricing on invoice, another made up number, but closer to your goal. Your invoice is 52,867, you want to be close to that as possible if not less. I leased a non RS in December for $2k under invoice.

You never put that amount of money down on a lease, I repeat never. You drive off the lot and total the car you are out $6.5k. Investigate multiple security deposits if you have cash you want to throw into the lease to lower payments. It is money you give as a deposit, but get back once you return the vehicle.

Infiniti lease rates are not state specific. If a January lease rate has already been posted for the vehicle you are looking for, it applies to you.

2.0T Prem: .00003 MF and 57% residual
3.0T Prem: .00015 MF and 56% residual
