That MF on the 3.0 is kind of ridiculous! That's 4.584% in age of 1.99% auto loans. Would you agree?
Hopefully IFS will come to their senses next month.

Just came back from the dealer. I'm looking for a 2017 Q60S AWD Red Sport fully loaded (sans carbon fiber package). The dealer said the MF and residual should be out on Monday. Can anyone confirm this? Based on your experience, should it be in line with the MF and residual on a 3.0T? Thank you!

Yes the MF is high, but the residuals are very high as well. I don't know if I have ever seen 64% on 39/12. You can buy down the MF with MDSs to save a bunch of money. I would much rather have high residuals and high MF then low residuals and MF. On the 16 Q50s right now you have super low residuals and MF, but there is no room to buy the rate down so you are actually paying more.

Sorry typo. MSD, multiple security deposits. You can do up to 9 multiples of your original base payment rounded up to the nearest $50 Each one you do drops the MF by .0001. I have two Infiniti leases right now, I am saving about $75 a month on each by doing the max of MSDs. For one they are holding $4050, the other $4500. But the beauty of it is I get that money back when I turn the car in. Take a 39 month lease x $75 a month and I am saving $2925 for the term of the lease for letting them hold some of my cash. Much better returns than many investments. Most dealers had no idea what they are. I had to educate my dealer when I did my deals. BWM is the only other company that I know of that does MSD, but there could be others. Obviously the best is low MF and high residuals, but that doesn't happen.

I received a quote back from the dealer for the Q60S Red Sport I posted above. They quoted me $4400 and $790/mo. Assuming the MSRP of the car is $62,000 (and since I've started reading this forum, I've noticed no one pays MSRP! Most seem to pay below invoice!), are these calculations correct:

Sale price: $62,000
Term: 39 month lease - 12,000 miles/yr
MF and Residual: 64% and .00199 (Thank you for the info, Michaell!)

$62,000 x 64% residual = $39,680

$62,000-$39,680= $22,320

Monthly depreciation charge:

$22,320 = $572.31

Monthly finance charge:

$39,680 + $62,000 = $101,680 x MF (.00199) = $202.34

$572.31+$202.34 =$774.65

4% NYS Sales Tax on $62,000 = $2,480 + $75 in DMV fees + lease acquisition fee ($700? - is this correct?) + first payment =


$4,029 payment for the first month and then $774.65

Is this correct? I should also mention that I would have to order this vehicle, as most Red Sports have not hit the dealers yet. Any tips on negotiating the MSRP.

NY taxes the sum of the payments, not the entire selling price.

Use the "make model year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools.

And, you may not see invoice pricing yet - new model and limited availability may make transaction prices higher, for now.

I haven't ordered the car yet. I was wondering how much negotiating room you typically have if you order the car vs. taking one off the lot. Sounds like it doesn't matter in the eyes of the dealer.

Generally dealers are more willing to discount a car in stock. We don't track selling prices, so don't really know what the delta is.

(39 month numbers are better than 36).

We don't have any incentive information.

It depends on the dealer really. Right now, there's won't be many fantastic deals on the Q60 Red Sport as it just came out. If you can wait a bit, that will help you get a better deal than the one you've shown above. My lease is up in 9 months, so in about 5-6 months I will begin shopping around for the best deal on this car.

Dealer in Sarasota stated the Q60-Red Sport will not be available till Late Nov-early Dec. If this helps.

The current Infiniti information we have is set to expire on 9/30
