So the dealer quoted me $4500 and additional $500 if I showed up to pick the car same day. While discussing numbers I noticed they added lease disposition fee upfront making my drive off $1896. Also he did not give me $500 additional incentive by saying we thought you were financing and not leasing, even though he quoted the 4500 off msrp for lease initially. Lol, had to walk away from the deal. Maybe next time.

Yes here is the breakdown...(dealer fees +acquisition fees+first month payment+lease disposition) 560+625+325+350 =1860.

Yes here is the breakdown...(dealer fees +acquisition fees+first month payment+lease disposition) 560+625+325+350 =1860.

Never seen the disposition fee collected at lease start, but other than that, it looks good.

Thanks for sharing. Just trying to understand the deal you got- what's the "processing fee" you mention; is it the dealer documentation fee for the dealer's admin costs?

I went to my local dealership yesterday Miami FL (6.30.17) to maybe score a deal for a 17' GTI SE Auto, 12k/36m. I would be turning my 14' Jetta SE lease in early (3 remaining payments).
The best they would do was $385 with $1500 down.
So I was still looking at a $426 payment for a $33k car, with Tier 1 credit.

From some of the deals I've read from here and vwvortex it seemed high. Am I wrong? Does this seem realistic?

They claimed this was the best anyone would do in FL and claimed the incentives were great for the GTI for June..  Are the new figures posted yet for July?
Incentives? MF? Resi?  Anyone have any thoughts about a justifiable lease pricing on this $33k car?

Keep Shopping around, call some dealers and have them give you quotes over the phone until you get a good deal.
I dont think they are taking over those payments for you. they allays add them to the lease one way or an other.
