Yep a Stag, first registered 13 April 1977 per the British registration/DVLA database. It was last registered in 2016, so it is either off the road or maybe exported.

The dustbuster minivans are something of a guilty pleasure, pretty cool looking. I remember when they came out, my dad wanted one, but he heard somewhere there'd be an AWD model, and that's what he wanted (it never existed). I doubt my mom would have been thrilled.

I'm surprised he's still working - he has to be close to retirement. He also did a stint in the Oklahoma City plant (Malibu and Cutlass) before it, too, was closed by GM. Now he commutes from OKC to DFW for work. He's some sort of troubleshooter, which is why he was offered the chance to relocate.

I see a cargo variant of a first gen Chrysler minivan now and then, still on the road in decent shape. I also recall cargo variants of the Aerostar, Astro, and Toyota "wonder wagon".

Robocop is from 1987, but maybe dustbuster vans in Robocop II, been ages since I've seen it, don't recall.

The video irritates me (or maybe makes me jealous). I suspect those are actors shown using the house because none of them appear over 30 years of age. They are so rich that aside from the Ferrari they leave the water running in the sinks and showers. Cohiba cigars, fine wine, fancy food. The house is listed for $1.25 million and is about 20-25 miles out of Anchorage.

Can you get snow chains for a Ferrari I wonder?

It's a Volvo P1900, a glass-bodied convertible a few dozen of which were made in the mid 50s because it didn't find a market. Volvo buyers of that era wouldn't go for something as frivolous as a ragtop.

It didn't help that it looked like crap w the top up>

Actually, its a '71. The only year for the quad lights and the fender louvres. I would think it is the most famous "look" for the 'cuda, yet only produced that one year.

The Putinmobile is called the Aurus Senat, and much like the occupant, hearkens back to the days of the ZIL and GAZ Chaika. I believe the engine is Porsche-based.
