Love how the two Beetles stand out amongst all that domestic iron.
Nice looking Monte in a period color right up front. My dad had one like that in brown when my mom was pregnant with me. She was supposed to take it but decided on her Beetle instead. Good thing, it lost the brakes and a tractor trailer t-boned my dad. He was pretty beat up, if there was a passenger they most likely would have been killed.
interesting purple on the DeVille convertible too.
little car is a Morris Minor?
On my monitor the Deville (D96P) looks like a light metallic blue.
The color balance in the picture seems skewed. The gentleman in the process of sitting down into the camp chair has a shirt that looks blue with a lot of red in it. The stripe around the hood of the car in front of the camera looks to be magenta or red toned. And the Eldorado looks far too magenta when I suspect it's a red.
AND the boot on the car facing the camera is the same magenta as the paint on the Eldorado.
I wonder if this is a colorized picture that is posted on one forum on Facebook.
The Minor tourer (convertible) was popular in its day as it was a good reliable way to have practical open car as opposed to a sports car, and its main contemporary rival was the Triumph Herald which was launched in 1960 and offered similar performance (although the Herald didn't have such good handling - though a great 25 foot turning circle which was like a London taxi!)
Minor two door saloons have been converted by several firms since the convertible became popular as a classic car (the original ones tended to rust more than the saloons due to leaks when neglected )
Original Tourers are worth about twice the converted ones and at least three times the two door saloon
Currently there are two basic types of blue paint available on vehicles it seems. One is the very dark shade that looks almost black unless it is in direct sunlight, as offered by Toyota and Mazda. The other is the very bright mid-blue, almost a French racing blue shade, that is very trendy and offered on a lot of makes. I don't like either. Manufacturers need to go back to some of the dark-but-not-blue/black metallics offered in the past which were very attractive. Of course it would be nice to have a blue interior available to go with that.
My nephew has a '15 535i which looks like black except in strong light when you can see a blue tint, which BMW calls Carbon Black. This is one of those multii-layer paints and they can be very cool. They've been around for a couple of decades. I had a mid 90s Audi A4 that looked like ivory white but in a strong light would look like a diamond silver.
Yup, it is an Iso, pecificallly an ISO Rivolta GT ca. 1963-64 (Aka IR300 . This was one of the first Euro cars to combine American power (327 Chevy) with European sports car or Gran Turismo chassis and body, a combination that produced the Facel-,Vega HK500, the Gordon-Keebler, the Shelby Cobra and others.

Iso is the company that introduced the Isetta bubble car and the Rivolta was the sire of the Bizzarinni Grifo. Rivolta styling was from Bertone, note the resemblance to Alfa Giulia coupes.

I would love a Cosworth Vega now. Not the 150 hp it was originally supposed to be, but surprisingly competent compared to European competition at the time. Great styling IMHO. I read it cornered flatter than the same year Corvette with radials. They were built on their own line, about 40 miles from where I lived then, and 40 miles from where I live now in the opposite direction. I rode in one in 1975, and it was a thrill, and I rode in the same serial number car twenty years later, when a friend bought it. Also, beat the 'Bandit' color scheme by a year or so.
The Cosworth pictured is a '76. I don't care for the yellow taillights that year, but I like that any regular Vega color could be had on a Cosworth in '76. I really liked the dark blue with white interior with blue dash and carpet.

I liked the Cosworth Vega as well. They were expensive relative to other Vegas, and I think that was a factor that limited sales. In addition, A/C wasn't available and many 'sports' cars did make this available. For folks that lived in southern states by 1976 A/C was an expectation. And sadly it was a Vega. Regardless how good the Cosworth was its reputation was already tarnished. The dark blue with white interior was sharp as was the forest green with saddle interior.
