Maybe it looks better in person?? Reminds me of the awkward look of a late 80s Alfa sedan where the belt line on the rear quarter angled upward. It looked like it was in a rear end collision.

Actually a 60 Country Squire with a 60 Starliner with the popular light blue color in the background.

I thought the ladies were enjoying cocktail hour there but upon closer inspection could not spot any liquor bottles.

In the background I see a '55 or '56 Buick Special 2-dr HT and what looks like perhaps a Triumph TR-2 or TR-3. The Starliner back there is a nice find. Once again the "poor-selling" '60 Fords are everywhere in period pics.

The source of the photo stated it was 1967. If that's the case, half of the '60 Fords were probably dead, by then.

In Akron the import wagon departing on the right is an Opel Rekord circa 1959-63
The wagon was known as the Caravan in Germany.





Opel weren't imported to the uk until the late sixties but we used to see them brought back by returning troops from postings in Germany

1955-56 Cadillac. It has a/c. See the little bubble just behind the rear roof pillar. If you look closely you can see the clear tubes inside the backlight that blow the cold air to the vents located in the ceiling.
